Annabelle picture

Corrected entry: The movie is set in 1967. When the husband comes out of the neighbor's house he tells Mia to call 911. 911 was not used as the national emergency number until 1968 (the first ever call using it was February 16, 1968). California only adopted 911 in 1972.

ScRiZ

Correction: The husband John asks the wife to "call an ambulance" not "911" when he exits the neighbours' house.

Correction: There is only one shot where there may be claws, however it is not possible to determine if it is claws or merely the debris in the area. All other shots show the pod with no claws.

Fury picture

Corrected entry: In the final battle scene, before a shot is fired, the Germans are seen marching along with many Panzerfausts over their shoulders, and yet they are seen unpacking them much later. A few well aimed shots at a disabled tank would have finished the battle very effectively much sooner. Panzerfausts were a very effective anti tank weapon.

Correction: The reason we see the Germans unpacking them is because the soldiers with the Panzerfausts were either killed or busy running away when the tank crew started to shoot. Rather than searching the area for the dropped or lost Panzerfausts, the Germans opted to wait for the cases to be carried from the rear. The German officer even says something like that they will win if they just get to fire them on the tank.

Interstellar picture

Corrected entry: In the docking scene where Coop is trying to dock the service module to the partly damaged Endurance, the Endurance is spinning around its center axis. As the ship was damaged around the perimeter it would spin around its new center of mass, that would be off axis. The docking bay itself would revolve around this new axis, making alignment much harder.

Milan Korenica

Correction: It's not explained in the movie itself, but any kind of craft that has to take distribution of weight into account (e.g. Larger ships, airplanes), has some form of (semi-) automatic mechanism to rebalance itself, for example by pumping fuel into another section. A spacecraft that is designed to revolve around itself and features detachable cargo modules etc., sure as hell will have some form of automatic weight redistribution as well, so as not to off-center the whole craft when someone goes to the toilet 90° away.

Corrected entry: When the power goes 'out' for various users, the wireless should go down unless *everybody* has a battery backup / uninterruptable power supply.

Correction: Only the lights, not the power, are turned out/off.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 picture

Corrected entry: When Peter reviews Gwen's speech on his computer, she is filmed in a tight head /shoulders shot and at eye level. However, there is no camera at that angle (right in front of her) as she delivers the speech.

New Hex

Correction: It's called "zoom". The parents and family are seated in stadium-style elevated seating above and behind the graduates. Every single parent there had this exact same footage, with that exact same framing.

Godzilla picture

Corrected entry: When the soldiers go to Yucca mountain to look for the other MUTO, they find a hole where it had busted out and was heading to Vegas. Why didn't they see this gigantic creature across the desert while on the way to Yucca mountain?

Correction: Apparently they arrived from the other side.

Non-Stop picture

Corrected entry: A few problems at once: when the skinny guy with the glasses, who turns out to be the architect of this whole scheme, is being detained and pushed around by Liam Neeson on the plane, he manages to slip the mobile phone to the accountant and inject him with a lethal poison. All of which goes unnoticed by anybody. Later on, when Liam Neeson reviews the video clips a passenger made with his own mobile phone, the whole act is not really visible either, but it still convinces Liam Neeson that he is the villain. And the villain, without even really knowing what Liam Neeson is exactly seeing on the recorded clips, conveniently assumes that his cover has been blown now and decides to openly reveal himself as the antagonist.

Correction: Marks reviews the video and while it doesn't show much to show the guy with the glasses is the bad guy, it does show him, almost purposely bumping into the man in the seat. This takes places moments before that man is found with the phone, and subsequently the dart. While watching the video, Marks easily puts 2 and 2 together. The main bad guy notices Mark's reaction so he knows he sees something. Henceforth his reaction.

Correction: The movie takes place in a universe where autonomous flying robots can detect mutant DNA. Military helmets ten years ahead of their time aren't out of place. It just suggests that secret parts of the military are using futuristic gear.

Kingsman: The Secret Service picture

Corrected entry: In the bar scene when he locks the door then fights all the men, when he finishes he opens the door without having to slide the locks open.

Cyrice Sir-reece Gein

Correction: He does, we just don't see it. When he approaches the door, the camera shifts to Eggsy, and you hear him unlocking the door. It then shifts back to him opening the door.

Gone Girl picture

Corrected entry: During the hospital interview with the detectives and police, Amy explains that she was kidnapped at the front door by Desi Collings. Neither lead detective Rhonda Boney nor any other cop enquires how massive amounts of her blood ended up on the kitchen floor, or how the living room was trashed.

Correction: Boney tries to ask Amy these questions, however she is shut down by superiors who obviously just want the case closed.

The Maze Runner picture

Corrected entry: Spoiler: At the end, Gally shoots Chuck, and Minho throws a spear through Gally's chest, killing him. A minute later, when Thomas looks at Gally, the spear is nowhere in sight.

Correction: I had to watch this several times on DVD, but the spear is always there. As Gally falls to his knees, dying, the end of the spear, which was at a slight angle away from his body can easily be seen because light is on it. As he turns more to the camera, the shaft is covered in shadow and blends into his dark clothing and can barely be seen, but it is there the entire time.

The Book of Life picture

Corrected entry: When Manolo arrives in the Land of the Remembered, only his swords can be seen on his back. A few scenes later after he meets the Captain, his guitar appears on his back too.

Avh1

Correction: Actually the guitar is on the ground and while the land of the remembered tour guide looks for "Maria Posada" on his list, Manolo puts the guitar on his back.

Lucy picture

Corrected entry: Originally, there are four blue bags. Lucy eats the remainder of her bag, which leaves three bags. When Lucy needs all of the remaining blue bags to go into IV infusions, they put up four when it should have been three.

kh1616

Correction: She does not eat the entirety of her package of drugs on the plane. While she is in drugged sleep after the airplane, you see the doctor hand Del Roy a package with some of the drug still in it. Later, when the case is opened at the university, there are three full bags of drugs, and one that is about a quarter full. That is what remains of hers.

The Expendables 3 picture

Corrected entry: When Barney's new "team" is captured, he is given 48 hours to rescue them. In that time, he flies 6000 miles from Romania to New Orleans in a 300 mph turboprop, does maintenance on the aircraft, picks up his old team, and flies another 6000+ miles to another country, where the team enters a decrepit hotel to effect a rescue.

goofyfoot

Correction: 300mph for 6000 miles is 20 hours. Twice is forty hours. There's nothing to suggest it took him more than 8 hours to do his maintenance work. So there's his 48 hours.

RoboCop picture

Corrected entry: The villains are told that they need to use .50 cal ammo to destroy Robocop. Problem is, the guns they are using can't possibly chamber or handle .50 cal ammo - totally unlike the "Cobra" (Barrett) in the original movie.

Street Judge

Correction: There is more than one .50 round. The one that goes in the M82 Barrett is a heavy sniper round. The gun used in this movie looks like it could handle the .50 AE, which is typically found in hunting revolvers.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 picture

Corrected entry: After shooting down the fighter, Katniss's arrow count in the following scene is correct; minus one red tipped explosive arrow. The next scene, however, shows her having both of them once again.

Correction: In the scene you're describing, she starts with 4 red-tipped arrows (not 2) and after firing one, the next shots for that scene shows she has 3 left.

Maleficent picture

Corrected entry: In the fight scene between Stefan and Maleficent where they are surrounded by soldiers, the first few shots show Maleficent wearing her long coat. However, a few shots later her coat disappears and she is wearing a full body black suit, with no coat on the ground either (01:21:40 - 01:22:55)

Correction: If you watch the scene closely you can see the velvet cape fall off her shoulder. It then falls to the ground.
