Continuity mistake: When Fowler tells Phuong that Pyle is dead she is leaning back in a chair. First her long hair is hanging down in front, then it moves to the back between shots. (00:06:50)
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie when the family drives to the lake to send Dad off on the plane the SUV has no tinted rear windows. When Dad finally flies off and you see the family pulling up to the house, you see that the SUV now has the factory tinted rear windows.
Continuity mistake: During the film's climax, in which the Wolf's wife Serena is on the run, CIA agent Peter Brandt tries to ambush her in an elevator. As he runs up to the elevator, we get a wide shot of him, the people waiting for the elevator, and the up/down indicator lights of the elevator. The down indicator is lit. (The shot pans down from the indicator lights as he runs up.) Cut to Elias briefly, then back to the elevator indicators. This time, neither light is on.
Continuity mistake: The soldiers' breath is seen in some scenes, but not others.
Continuity mistake: On the way to the big robbery, Tarzan shoots a hole in the roof of the car with a shotgun. In the next shot we see the car from above and the roof is intact.
Continuity mistake: In the scene, at the end, where the girl is running away from the killer, You can see that she is wearing high heels. But when she's climbing the ladder, you can see she is wearing trainers, then high heels again when she's off the ladder.
Continuity mistake: When Bucum is in the trailer at the beginning of the film, and the woman starts shooting at him with a shotgun, he runs and dives through a window. Before he dived through the window he had his pistol drawn. But when he's flying through the window, you can see it in the holster on his leg.
Continuity mistake: On the part where Joyce is arguing with Professor Miller (where she cuts her finger) watch her shoulder. As the cameras goes from her to Professor Miller, her purse strap keeps coming and going.
Continuity mistake: In the scene when Bennie comes back to Banks, she asks him about the papers he's been reading when she sat down opposite him. She then tries to take the papers, but Banks slams his fork into them. In the next shot you can see Banks holding the fork next to his face then, in the next, he presses the fork against the papers again.
Continuity mistake: In the scene at the end where they are finding out who the killer is, Joshua has lots of blood on his face. In next shot, there is less of it and then it disappears in the next shot. Then, there is lots of blood again.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Terry's boss is walking through what appears to be a train yard, he sees the little girl standing on the end of the train. Immediately after, we see him pulling a cigarette out of his mouth. The camera switches back to the train (which is now empty) before switching back to Terry's boss where we see him pull the cigarette out of his mouth a second time.
Continuity mistake: When the fake sheriff enters the basement we can see he leaves the door open. When it cuts to wide shots we can see in both wide shots that the door is closed. Then it appears open again later. (01:22:00)
Continuity mistake: When the security guard steals the hitman's bag, he tosses it into his car and takes off. But when the interior shot of the bag being thrown in is shown, it is a leather seat and the floormat has a Thunderbird logo. The security guard was driving a lime green Yugo, not a T-Bird.
Continuity mistake: When Valentin is arrested at the tea-house, Jane gives him the necklace that the healer gave her. When she gets to the saint's shrine, the next day, she is wearing the necklace again.
Continuity mistake: When Rebecca Romijn's counterpart pins her suicide note to a picture, it changes from slanted to the right, to slanted to the left and back to the right again in several shots.
Continuity mistake: When Jack Friar is with Tyrone and Erin in the traffic jam on the freeway, he puts his red flashing light on top of his car and takes a detour on a dirt path. Shortly after, a motorcycle policeman pulls up beside him and Jack flashes his badge. The next shot is a view of the car from far away and the red light is no longer on the top of the car.
Continuity mistake: There is a scene where two girls are in a room and one is on the ground, removing her skiing boots. She removes the same one twice.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Carla and Darl are talking in front of her house, she closes the back door to her car. In the next shot it is open and closed again in the next one.
Continuity mistake: When Claire is in the Captain's quarters, the locker falls open. As the camera pans up and left across the inside of the door, it slowly passes a photo of Cmdr. Winters in front of a banner that partially reads 'Welcomes Sinatra', and to our left is Frank Sinatra partly shown in the photo. Moments later, Olivia is looking at that same specific photo, and in close-up you can no longer tell who's at the left side (obscured by a hanging jacket) and the banner now reads 'Welcomes Goodman'. (Apparently there was a 'rights' issue that arose during filming that forced a switch to Goodman's name and music, and the earlier Sinatra shot was used in error.) (00:32:25)
Continuity mistake: During the pursuit scene, Alex has a gun pointed on the neck of the security guard but they are doing nothing each time there's a view from outside the armored truck.
