Continuity mistake: When the main character goes to visit the foreign girl she puts him to work raking leaves. Seeing the amount of leaves all over the lawn he puts into action a plan to quicken the task. Later we see a bunch of piles of leaves all over the yard. While speaking with the girl you can see the piles of leaves in the background. At one point, as they are speaking back and forth, the lawn has leaves spread out all over it. Then, as they continue to speak back and forth, the leaves are once again in neat piles.
Continuity mistake: When Van Zan is showing the dragon tooth to Quinn, the chain that's holding the tooth keeps moving around the entire scene from on his hand to around his hand, etc.
Continuity mistake: When Nick Chase first logs into Shock, his password is hidden in the password field as asterisks but when he logs in the second time, he logs in and enters "GUEST" as the password and asterisks do not hide it.
Continuity mistake: When Rheya comes with Kelvin to his apartment her hair is parted on the side when they go up the elevator. When they enter the apartment her hair is parted in the middle. (00:25:35)
Continuity mistake: When Max gave Kate the rose, it was a whiteish-cream color and it had a long stem. When we see the rose inside the house, it is short stemmed and light pink.
Continuity mistake: When David makes his first flight he is wearing his uniform as he dives into the canyon. As he comes out he is wearing the clothes he has on at the end of the film when he drops the sunstone. He switches back to his uniform when his first flight ends.
Continuity mistake: There's already drops of blood on the floor and Carrie's hair is already wet before the blood hits her.
Continuity mistake: John's shoes change from the time he gets out of his car the first time at Gordon's house to when he's inside the house in the bathtub.
