Character mistake: When Gilmore radios for backup during the Monument Valley chase, he is told additional officers will join them in Blanding. Kowalski hears this on his scanner as they pass a sign saying Blanding is 14 miles away. Kowalski then stops dead in the road and turns around, and the troopers do the same, yet when Sgt. Preston grabs the shotgun, he justifies firing on Kowalski saying "We're coming on to Blanding!" In actual fact they would be heading away from Blanding.
Character mistake: Claudia says she is 40, her daughter is 16, it is referenced that it was a young pregnancy, however she would have been 24 when she had Kit, hardly abnormally young.
Suggested correction: 24 is still young and she doesn't say anything about being "abnormally young." Plus, in 1979, the mean age for first time mothers was around 25.5 (rising to around 28.6 in 1995), so she was on the young side of first time mothers. If she had said she was a teenager when she got pregnant, that would be a mistake.
Character mistake: When Andy calls Linda, as Linda and Steve are hooking up, he addresses her (on the answering machine) as Tammy.

Character mistake: In the opening scene when John Wayne calls the other truck, the response is "go ahead John", not Sean.
Suggested correction: I listened several times and I heard "Sean" every time.
Character mistake: When Tracy's mom enters Motormouth Maybelle's place she is surprised to see her daughter. When she calls to her she says, "Tracy Edna Turnband" instead of "Turnblad."
Character mistake: Corinne suffers a seizure and is at the hospital with Jane at her bedside. Dr. Mitchell enters the room and, without asking what relationship Jane is to Corinne or if Corinne wants Jane to be present, proceeds to tell Corinne the results of her CT scan, referral to a neurologist, and that the hospital has a very strong oncology department. Dr. Mitchell does not take the necessary precautions to maintain Corinne's right to privacy. (00:28:16)
Character mistake: When Marian is correcting Amaryllis for the girls' poor grammar in saying "can I" instead of "may I" over the cross-hand piece, the girl then asks if she can go play that cross-hand piece and Marian replies, "now you can play your cross-hand piece."
Character mistake: When Modoc is suggesting what type of blood to drink, he suggests pigs blood B-. Swine don't have B blood. They have A and O blood only.
Character mistake: The tour guide inside the "Degenerate art" exhibition ridicules the 'child-like' paintings of the likes of Mondrian and Kandinsky. In particular he stands in front of Kandinsky "Upward." The German name of the work is "Empor", but the tag says "Empore." (00:03:40)
Character mistake: Thomas rips off his one glove as he makes his escape but then grips the bottom edge of the security door to slide under it. Smooth metal door would leave perfect finger and palm prints. I doubt detectives would miss prints on a door that was normally recessed away from the public. His prints may not be on file but would be easy to obtain once he was under suspicion. (00:19:20)
Character mistake: Tom goes with Hannah to meet with the reverend who will be conducting the ceremony. Hannah (and the credits) say his name is Rev. Feiten. However, Tom refers to him as Rev. Flint.

Character mistake: In the scene at Kerim Bey's office, when the bomb goes off, we see a heavy desk topple over. Bey says he was saved because he was relaxing on the couch with a girl. But he wasn't at the desk before either. He was sitting in some sort of sofa arrangement in a different corner of the room. We don't even see the desk before the bomb goes off. (00:32:05)
Character mistake: Near the end, Iris's doctor attempts to take John's pulse. He has his hand wrapped around John's hand, his fingers nowhere near the top of the wrist, where the artery is; and as he counts the "beats", against his wristwatch, John talks to him and he talks back - when you are counting something, you can not talk at the same time; you lose count every time.
Character mistake: Breaking the news of war to the Sayers, Allnut tells them that the war is involving smaller nations like "Austria, Hungary, Belgium, Spain." Spain was not amongst the participants of WW1. (00:10:00)
Character mistake: Flynn has been reading for a while, taking notes, spreading books around, etc. - when Nicole arrives and says that it was nice to watch take-off from the cockpit. The plane must have been in the air for a long time by then.
