Dawn of the Dead picture

Deliberate mistake: When the zombie (Tom Savini) is hit by a truck and spits a bunch of blood on the windshield, when he gets hit, the truck isn't moving at all. He runs into the car and spits blood to simulate being hit. It's hard to catch, but it's more obvious in slow motion. (Mentioned on DVD commentary.)

Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind picture

Deliberate mistake: In the end sequence, when the joyous Valley of the Wind people run past Yuppa and the old woman to welcome back Nausicaä among the living, the same group(s) of people are seen twice running from the right to the left.

Death Warrant picture

Deliberate mistake: Towards the end of the movie, when Van Damme and the Sandman are fighting in the boiler room, the Sandman gets kicked into an open furnace for some time and then jumps out covered in flames. It's noticeable that he still has a full head of hair, which is impossible. Hair would be the first thing burnt right down to the scalp within a matter of seconds.

Man of the Year picture

Deliberate mistake: There is a huge security breach in the scene with Robin Williams and Christopher Walkin walking at night. The Security SUV limousine is more than 30 metres away from them. It should be pacing them in case of an emergency and be right next to them on the sidewalk. It appears the reason it is so far back is because at the camera angle the scene is shot at, it makes for a good background element which you would not see if the Secret Service followed protocol.

Good Will Hunting picture

Deliberate mistake: Skylar's leaving is edited together with footage of Will sitting in a park watching planes take off - including, presumably, her plane. The sun is directly overhead in his scenes, while hers were filmed near sunset. (Most obvious when you see the very long shadows during the same airport footage which is also used in the deleted scene "Pudge Fisk Card"). (01:39:20)

Runaway Train picture

Deliberate mistake: The entire plot wouldn't exist without this one, but just before the engineer stumbles out the door and falls off, he pulls the big red lever on the left side of the cab. In the real world this puts the air brake system into its emergency mode. Among other things, this mode trips a solenoid which causes the engine to return to idle, and the electrical system to not put out power. Neither the Diesel engine nor the electrical system will respond to control inputs until/unless the air system is reset.

Hard to Kill picture Hard to Kill mistake picture

Deliberate mistake: When Steven Seagal and Kelly LeBrock are in the jeep, being chased through some fields by the cops, some of the shots of the jeep are flipped. Note the bullet holes on the windshield switch sides, as does the driver/steering wheel, the windshield wipers and the front license plate. As an aside, also note the numbers/letters on the license plate that have been altered via CG in the flipped shots.

Saved! picture

Deliberate mistake: When the poolboy jumps into the pool and turns into Jesus to save Mary, the movement of his mouth does not match his lines.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: Mary is hallucinating, so reality isn't really a factor here.

War Horse picture

Deliberate mistake: During the cavalry charges, swords are held at shoulder height as they would for charging enemy cavalry, not knee height for charging infantry. This was a deliberate decision in order to have the blades more visible.

Deliberate mistake: When Dwight Yoakum is being shot by Rita, and he is holding Lew, you can plainly see Lew has earplugs in to muffle the gunshot.

Deliberate mistake: When Evan/August first meets Arthur at the park, after playing, you see Arthur leaving his spot without taking the cable and (presumably) the amp as well.

Hero picture

Deliberate mistake: Although the first account of what happened in Zhao isn't completely true, the arrows penetrating the calligraphy school are sometimes flying at angles that make their trajectory impossible, such as arrows flying perpendicular to the ground or even flying upward.

The Jesse Ventura Story picture

Deliberate mistake: This is being made as more of a movie than a documentary as it is using actors to portray Jesse Ventura and other wrestlers (like The Superstar Billy Graham). Needless to say because TBS is making the film, WCW Monday Nitro and Thunder were used to film the matches. As a result the rings contain logos for those events (neither the events nor the logos existed in Ventura's days as a wrestler). In addition the ring announcer is using a cordless microphone which was definitely not in use when Ventura fought the Superstar.

Ladder 49 picture

Deliberate mistake: The nose pieces on the face masks have been removed from all of the SCBAs used in the movie. The nose pieces are essential to keep the mask from fogging up, but were removed to allow the audience to see all of the actors' faces.

Deliberate mistake: After takeoff, an exterior shot of the plane switches from a Boeing 757 to an Airbus A320.

Under Siege 2 picture

Deliberate mistake: During the scene where Ryback is fighting Penn (the grey-haired mercenary) in the kitchen, watch for the shot where Ryback flips Penn. The film has been sped up and the result looks disjointed and out of place. The characters are moving FAR too fast for it to look natural.

Deliberate mistake: The mystery begins as Winston points out the postmark on the envelope that Dan receives, it is too faint to see where it's from. But whenever we see a close up of the envelope, there is no postmark at all.
