Tall Men with Feelings - S1-E11

Corrected entry: In the first episode, Piper is seen taking herself to the jailhouse to turn herself in. In this episode, for Larry's radio show he mentions Piper was arrested at her house, and how the police showed up at their house with handcuffs.

Correction: These are 2 separate events. She is arrested at home prior to going to trial. Her sentence was then set and she was given a date on which she had to turn herself in so that she could serve her sentence. In between the 2, she was likely out on bail as she was convicted of a non-violent offence and was not considered a threat to society due to having living a crime-free life for many years.

I Wasn't Ready - S1-E1

Corrected entry: During a flashback sequence, Alex is applying a temporary tattoo to the back of Piper's neck as part of a disguise. During the criminal act for which the disguise was needed, Piper does not have the tattoo. (00:24:30 - 00:36:20)

Correction: She was covering up her tattoo with foundation, not applying one.

Storm-y Weather - S5-E13

Character mistake: The officers count the inmates and say there's 10 missing. There are indeed 10 inmates hiding in the pool. However, Pennsatucky and Chang had escaped the prison. The officers counted Linda as an inmate, who had been hiding in Litchfield the whole season, and wasn't on the list. That would make it 11 people missing, not 10.

Trivia: In the flashback scene when Gloria is being arrested outside her store, there is a cardboard cut out of Andrew McCarthy, who is an actor from the 80's (Mannequin, Weekend at Bernie's, etc) and also directs a few episodes. (00:32:40)

More trivia for Orange Is the New Black

Answer: On the show, orange uniforms are worn by the new inmates, while the khaki is the longer-term population. Generally, there's no standardized meaning of the colors as every prison has their own color-coding system. For example, red could mark more dangerous inmates. Other colors could indicate lower-risk prisoners, ones with health issues, area designations, and so on.
