Continuity: During most of this episode, Princess Calla wears ragged peasant's clothing. But in the instant where she uses the Changing Hat to transform into Igthorn, she wears her usual princess dress.

Continuity: When Cavin climbs the tower out of the sight of the ogre guard, a stone comes loose under his hands and falls on the guard's head. But in order to do so, it would have had to round about a quarter of the tower to come down on the head.

Continuity: In the scene where first Cavin, then Calla and the Gummis, and then Igthorn exit the prison tower, a character is missing. Calla is strangely absent when the ogre guard gets the door in his face the second time, yet before and after she is definitely in the company of Grammi, Sunni and Tummi.

Plot hole: The Changing Hat transforms the wearer into any person by the mere mention of a name. However, when Calla (as Igthorn) and Igthorn face each other, Calla pronounces Toadwart's name - and doesn't change.
