X-Men mistake picture

Savage Land, Strange Heart (2) - S3-E9

Continuity mistake: When Storm breaks off communication with Beast, the animation suggests that she is removing the communicators from her chest, but they remain in place. A couple of shots later, they are completely gone. They then reappear and disappear throughout the rest of the episode. Note: this mistake may only apply to the version of the episode that appears on the DVD. In the version of the episode that appears on Disney+, Storm does indeed rip the communicators off her chest. Savage Land, Strange Heart (1) - S3-E8

Continuity mistake: When Beast contacts Rogue on her wrist communicator, you can see she is wearing the usual yellow gloves, green sleeves and brown jacket of her uniform. When the shot changes, she is wearing the long-sleeve blue shirt without gloves that she was wearing earlier in the episode. (00:07:40)

Savage Land, Strange Heart (1) - S3-E8

Audio problem: When Sauron says "Ka-Zar, I warned you!", Ka-Zar is actually the one mouthing the line. Note: this mistake may only apply to the DVD version of the episode. Sauron is the one mouthing the line in the Disney+ version of the episode. (00:02:40)

Savage Land, Strange Heart (1) - S3-E8

Continuity mistake: At the very beginning of the episode, Sauron can be seen wearing the necklace of Garokk. Not only is he not wearing the necklace a few shots later, but he isn't even supposed to have the necklace until a few minutes later in the episode when Zaladane gives it to him after he reverts to his human form. The Phoenix Saga (3): Cry of the Banshee - S3-E5

Other mistake: When the text depicting the episode name appears on screen after the opening credits, it says "The Phoenix Saga Part 2, The Cry of the Banshee." It should read "The Phoenix Saga Part 3, The Cry of the Banshee." Note: this mistake may only apply to the DVD version of the episode. The episode that appears on Disney+ correctly depicts it as "Part III." (00:02:20)

Days of Future Past: Part 1 - S1-E11

Trivia: After Bishop travels into the past, he hears one kid telling another that they will be playing the new Punisher game "Assassin." When the Punisher was first being developed, he was originally going to be called The Assassin.

Show generally

Question: Does anyone know why Gambit was featured less and less in episodes as the show went on? He was one of the most popular characters in not just X-Men, but all of Marvel Comics around the time this series first aired, so unless it had something to do with his voice actor's contract, it seems odd they wouldn't have utilized him more.

Phaneron

Answer: Chris Potter, the original Gambit voice actor, did indeed quit the role in the 4th season. His last episode was The Phalanx Covenant Part 1 so it seems reasonable that Fox would limit the use of the character even though it was recast. It doesn't appear that Potter left the role due to animosity, he stated in an interview that he wished to play Gambit in the first live action X-Men film.
