Continuity mistake: Throughout the episode, the inhibitor collars worn by the captured mutants alternate between having a leveled edge like a hardware nut, to having a rounded edge like a finger ring.

Continuity mistake: Before the mutants ambush the guards, they are walking in a single-file line, with Sunfire in front, followed by Jubilee, Mystique, Caliban, an unnamed female mutant, and Aurora. Other mistake: When Cyclops, Rogue and Jean Grey exit the War Room to depart for Genosha, at the top of the door frame there is a black spec moving around, possibly indicating that there was some debris or a clump of dust on the animation cells or the camera lens itself during filming. (00:08:15)

Slave Island - S1-E7

Continuity mistake: Gambit and Jubilee are shown to be grouping together what appears to be several pieces of malleable rebar. When the shot changes to Gambit reassuring Jubilee that Storm is alive, he is shown to be working with a single piece of rebar. When the shot changes again, they are back to working with a bunch of rebar. (00:05:00)

Other mistake: When Storm sends the Genoshan prison guard flying into the Blob, he knocks the Blob over. The Blob's powers prevent him from being moved, hence why he is sometimes called the Immovable Blob. Other episodes demonstrated his ability to stand his ground against force, such as being punched by Rogue or being blasted by Cyclops' optical beam.

Show generally

Question: Does anyone know why Gambit was featured less and less in episodes as the show went on? He was one of the most popular characters in not just X-Men, but all of Marvel Comics around the time this series first aired, so unless it had something to do with his voice actor's contract, it seems odd they wouldn't have utilized him more.

Answer: Chris Potter, the original Gambit voice actor, did indeed quit the role in the 4th season. His last episode was The Phalanx Covenant Part 1 so it seems reasonable that Fox would limit the use of the character even though it was recast. It doesn't appear that Potter left the role due to animosity, he stated in an interview that he wished to play Gambit in the first live action X-Men film.
