Factual error: Maybe they took time in the midst of a desperate escape to tack Orac down with Velcro? When the shuttle first takes off, its angle of ascent causes Orac to nearly slide off the control panel. A short time later, the angle is far steeper, but this time Orac stays perfectly still. Continuity mistake: When Vargas beams up to the Liberator just ahead of Blake, Gan & Vila, he challenges them when they arrive from the other side of the room - by stepping out of the teleport bay. But they're standing in the teleport bay, and Liberator has only one. So exactly where is Vargas standing? (00:48:15)
Trivia: The box-like entrances to the underground lair proved problematic for the Space Rat actors. When several of them were supposed to spill out on cue, the box walls and their heavy helmets prevented them from hearing the director, who repeatedly screamed "Action!" to no avail. A lone voice from inside the box eventually shouted back, "Can't hear you!"
