Continuity mistake: When Miss Fisher is on her knees by the burial site of her sister, the ribbon in her possession is quite different from the one seen at the beginning of the series, which was worn out, with no hint of the shape and color of the blue one shown in this episode and the previous.
Continuity mistake: When Dot is holding Hugh at gunpoint, Hugo Johnstone-Burt is holding a pencil between his thumb and middle finger only when shot from the front with Dot's hands in the foreground. He never has it in the angle behind him, or wider shots. (00:34:40)
Continuity mistake: As the the first conversation between Miss Fisher and her cousin's belle begins, when she mentions "That dazzling party in Charing Cross" she has her hand on the newspaper, but it is on her shoulder at the cut. Continuity mistake: Miss Fisher as 'Fern' is posing as the magician's assistant. He does the (supposedly, before the man in the crowd calls out 20 as grand finale) last throw successfully and walks up to her to retrieve the knives. They are obviously positioned differently between shots. (00:30:30)
Continuity mistake: When Bert and Cec put their groceries down in the kitchen, Cec takes his hat off, Bert does not and shows no contempt about it. After a brief cut, once Miss Fisher is exiting the room Bert is now without his hat. (00:13:50)
Continuity mistake: Early on, Miss Fisher and Doctor McMillan are strolling among the dockers in the background. But Miss Fisher hasn't disembarked the ship yet, that happens in the following scene. (00:01:45)
Continuity mistake: Dot is going through the agony aunt mail: she mentions the woman with 9 kids who does not want to deny her hubby, and you can distinctly see her put back on the table her left hand, holding a letter. Cut, and that hand is now hovering above the table. (00:19:55)
Continuity mistake: During Miss Fisher's conversation with John/Giovanni/Miss Greenthumbs in the building stairway, when she asks him about Artemis he inhales from the cigarette. Smoke is present and visible, disappears in the reverse shot, back to full visibility as the original angle returns, and no smoke at all when we get back to the reverse shot. (00:15:35)

Continuity mistake: When the mechanic puts his cheap cigar on the ashtray, it's an enormous, almost whole cigar in the close-up, leaning on top of the matchbox. When it is shown again a few seconds later, it's reduced to just a butt, lying at distance from the box. (00:25:00)
Murder in Montparnasse - S1-E7
Continuity mistake: As Jack and Hugh are questioning the bookie in the bar, Jack mentions he could be charged with murder. The guy, startled, asks "Murder? What?" across 2 shots. In the first, his left hand is under the table, in the second he is holding his hands together as he smokes. (00:09:45)
Continuity mistake: When Miss Fisher gets face to face with Foyle for the first time, her arm goes from straight to slightly bent at the first cut after his mocking applause; in the reverse shot the arm is still straight and only then begins to curve. (00:39:30)
Continuity mistake: Jack and Hugh are checking out of the serial numbers of the banknotes. It's quite obvious during the sequence that Hugh has a couple of wads in his hands, then he is hands free, and then is holding the same wads as before. (00:39:30)
Continuity mistake: In the faraway shot, the snake is wrapped around the neck of the dead body full circle, while in the close-ups that follow and precede, the snake is draped across its neck and creeps up the right side of the deceased. (00:01:20)

Continuity mistake: Miss Fisher serves a dumpling to Dot and is complimented by Lin about her dexterity with chopsticks, which she is holding in two different ways between shots. Not just that, but when she asks about "the skirmish" a few moments later, the chopsticks become a cup. (00:13:00)
Continuity mistake: When Miss Fisher introduces Samson to Jack, the clock in his office shows it's 10 AM. When Senior Sergeant Grossmith is at the phone just outside, the time displayed is half past 8. (00:05:00 - 00:05:50)
Continuity mistake: When cousin Guy tells Miss Fisher "You like your meat tender too", Isabella is sipping from the drink she lowered in the previous shot. (00:32:00)

Death at Victoria Dock - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: When Miss Fisher tends to the fatal wound of the victim, she slips one glove off, using it to plug the hole in his chest. She suddenly then has both gloves off. Even assuming the montage implies a lengthier amount of time elapsed, when she takes the box from the dying guy her hand is all bloodied up, but it shows much cleaner in the following shot. Continuity mistake: During the interrogation of Mr. Rogers, the distance between the trumpet and the mute constantly changes between shots. And when he says "So what? Doesn't prove a thing!", Miss Fisher is holding her hand on top of the mute, instead of having her arms folded. (00:49:40 - 00:51:00)
