When Glenn Plummer's character gets the spiked baseball bat in the head, the camera shows two shots of the blood coming out of his head on the floor, and there's not much there. When the guy who killed him walks over to read the number on the back of his head, there is now a huge amount of blood, not enough time has passed in the 2 seconds since the previous shot for this to happen. The needle pit scene was done with real needles. The crew had to remove the tips and add a fibre optic tip. The pit was filled with slime to make the needles slide around more. 120,000 needles were used during this scene. This from the DVD extras. See more...

Continuity: In the very beginning of Saw 2 when the informant awakes and realizes where he is and suddenly gets up from the chair there is a brief shot of him from the rear. If you look closely the leather waistband for the trap is completely loose, but when the camera quickly switches to his front, it shows the leather waist band tight around his waist.
