Corrected entry: This appears in all light sabre battles. Why is it that the only thing a light sabre can't go through is another light sabre? aren't light sabres just a focused beam of light? And why do light sabres reflect blaster shots? ?They are just a laser as well.

Correction: This is not a mistake, but how the filmmaker (Lucas) decided that this completely fictitious weapon should work. If you really want to know, submit this as a question, or simply go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lightsaber for all the info you would ever need on lightsabers.

They also can't penetrate certain metals either. Ray's staff, Magnaguards' electrostaffs, etc.

Corrected entry: General Grievous takes a big risk in breaking the bridge window exposing it to space knowing that his boss, Lord Sidious, was also on the bridge and could possibly be sucked out before the shield closed.

Correction: Still, this is a character decision and not a plot hole. Grievous also knew that Darth Sidious would be able to take care of himself, and that the Jedi (not knowing Palpatine was Sidious) would do anything to protect the Chancellor, even sacrifice themselves, if need be.

Corrected entry: When Mace Windu is talking to Yoda, Ki-Adi-Mundi and Aayla Secura via holograms in the Jedi war room, as he says, "The Jedi Council would have to take control of the Senate in order to secure a peaceful transition.", his lightsabre is visible. A short time later, when he confronts Darth Sidious, he is carrying a different sabre. (He only has one sabre.). (00:59:10 - 01:08:00)

Correction: Even if he only uses one saber at a time, there is nothing wrong with Mace Windu owning more than one saber. And since the confrontation with Palpatine happens some time later, he could have switched to one with a different design. Maybe the one he used against Palpatine had some specific functions the other did not?

Corrected entry: When Windu and the other Jedi fight Chancellor Palpatine, their original intention is to arrest him. Yet later when Anakin walks in on Windu, Windu says that he has control of the Senate and the Courts and is too dangerous to be kept alive.

Correction: That's Mace Windu's decision, and he obviously changes his mind when he sees just how powerful and dangerous Palpatine is with his own eyes. If Palpatine had come willingly, or at least refrained from killing the Jedi, Windu most likely would have tried to subdue him peacefully.

Corrected entry: What the heck happened to Yoda between the trilogies? In Episode III, he was strong, wise, solemn, like Mace Windu. But when Luke meets him in Episode V, he's nearly insane. He says to Luke, "Away put your weapon, I mean you no harm." while cowering to Luke's blaster. Yoda is a Jedi Master & very strong in the Force. Why is he nothing like he was in the 1st trilogy?

Correction: Yoda is faking it in "Empire." It is a test to see how Luke reacts to a small, silly, harmless creature and how long Luke's patience would last. Observe when Luke fails this test and throws down his dinner, exclaiming "I'm wasting my time," how Yoda's behaviour changes instantly to the old, wise Jedi master.

Corrected entry: Obi-Wan & Anakin manage to pilot what's left of General Grievous' star destroyer to a survivable landing on Coruscant. As they do, the ship is steered towards a long, straight landing strip in the city. Since when do spaceships & aircraft in the Star Wars universe need landing strips? Everything, including even the largest ships, use advanced hovering technology, and can make pinpoint vertical take offs & landings.

Correction: A couple of explanations for this arise: 1. There is no guarantee that every civilization has the hovering technology, or that they are willing to use it. The landing platforms must be able to accomodate all kinds of craft, even if there appears some without hovering capability. 2. Technology is developed over time, and the landing strips might just as easily be a leftover from the days when few ships had the VTOL technology. And furthermore, not every ship has the capability to land. "The largest ships" that you mention does not have this, as they are built and operate entirely in space. It would be very impractical to attempt to land a Super Star Destroyer (seen in "Return of the Jedi") or a Nebula-B frigate (the hospital ship from "Empire Strikes Back") on a planet surface.

Corrected entry: When Mace Windu and Palpatine are fighting, Mace knocks Palpatine's lightsaber out of his hand and it goes flying out the window where the glass used to be. However, Palpatine has it later when he fights Yoda.

Correction: The fight with Yoda happens some time later. Palpatine has plenty of time to retrieve his saber, or to collect a spare one.
