Revealing mistake: When Freddy is about to kill Gibb, the claw near the top right that is in the locker bends like rubber.

Visible crew/equipment: When Harry is lying outside the hut at the end of the film, Snape kicks his wand away. A block of neon tape can be seen briefly beneath the wand when Snape kicks it.

Revealing mistake: Whenever someone takes drugs and their pupils "dilate" you can see that it's a normal eye being distorted by a computer because the arc of reflected light also is distorted.

Continuity mistake: When Rico is defending the fort, he takes off his helmet to make a radio call and his hair is all weird. However, before placing the helmet back on, he is seen again with perfect hair.

Factual error: After trying to get his balloon back, Carl Jr. falls and breaks his arm. The ambulance that picks him up has a modern-day electronic siren, when in the 30's it would be a mechanical siren and would be much smaller.

Continuity mistake: When Barbara Anne's owner comes to the door to talk to Owen, she is holding a coffee mug by the handle. The next shot shows her holding the mug on the other (non-handle) side. (00:05:50)

Visible crew/equipment: At the start of the scene where Evan is racing to the school to get to the choir, you see some buildings. If you look down when the angle is turning to the right, it focuses on some cranes, a camera, and a wire holding it up, and a crew member is visible in the reflection of a red window.
