Robocop 2 (1990)

Corrected entry: In the future, Detroit is this absolute hellhole where crime is rampant, police are on strike, all areas are somewhat dangerous and even boy scouts have turned criminal, but when Murphy drives past his former wife's house (presumably in Detroit) near the beginning, the area is nice and tranquil where the kids casually ride bikes up and down and no one even has bars on their windows. Also given the amount of crime in Detroit, why does OCP even care about Robocop's prying behaviour?.

Gavin Jackson

Correction: To answer the first mistake, it could be a gated community with security. To answer the second mistake, he was trying to bring up his old memories - if he became Officer Murphy again, he would cease to be RoboCop, hence no longer under OCP's control.

Corrected entry: When Detective Castelbeck and his partner are searching the warehouse with the UV lights, they find the list of the cars written with the UV reactive ink. When Castelbeck raises his arm the power cable of the UV light can be seen going into his jacket sleeve to a power supply somewhere inside it.

Correction: The cord can be seen in a few other shots during this scene. It appears that they are using standard light fixtures, with UV bulbs, the same fixtures that you can get at any hardware store, ones that require them to be plugged in. Just because they do not show them plugging them in, doesn't mean they are battery operated.

Under Siege (1992)

Corrected entry: Seagal puts some stuff in the microwave that should explode when being heated. When the bad guys are in the kitchen, they hear the microwave beep, then the thing explodes. It's highly unlikely that a homemade bomb will explode at exactly the set time, down to the second, which is over 15 minutes.

RoyT

Correction: That is because Segal had turned off the power, so the microwave was not on. When the terrorists enter the kitchen, they turn the power on. Once the power turns on, the microwave comes on, and then explodes a few seconds later.

Bruce Minnick

You definitely hear the microwave ding just before it explodes. Makes no sense. This has haunted me for years.

Corrected entry: Gwyneth Paltrow is at the scene of the robots attacking N.Y. in the start of the movie. Jude Law is also there at one point. He's flying and she's driving, yet she beats him at getting to the base.

Correction: Since we do not know what Jude Law did after the robots left NY, you can not say that she was faster then him. She may have left straight for the base while he went elsewhere (before he returned to the base).

Star Wars (1977)

Corrected entry: When the stormtroopers breaks into the Blockade Runner, the explosion leaves a lot of debris on the floor, but when Lord Vader arrives a little bit later, there is much less debris.

Dr Wilson

Correction: The debris would have been moved by all the personnel (rebel soldiers and stormtroopers) moving about. Also, there are a lot of dead bodies, these would cover up a lot of debris.

Bruce Minnick

Correction: Also, since it is implied that the stormtroopers moved the bodies out of the middle of the hallway (since we see them lined up on the side rather than sprawled out in the middle), they probably also moved any debris that was in the hallway out of the way as well.

Star Wars (1977)

Corrected entry: During the scene where Han says, "Jabba, you're a wonderful human being," watch his lips when he says that. They don't match the words because the original line was something like "Jabba, I promise I'll pay you back".

Correction: It might be a slight sound sync issue, but if you watch the original scene, the line that Han says is the same that he says in the Special Edition.

Little Nicky (2000)

Corrected entry: When Adrian and Cassius leave hell, the gates freeze and their father starts dying. Yet when Little Nicky goes to live on Earth, everything is perfectly fine.

Correction: It has to do with the fact that Nicky is half Devil and half Angel (his two brothers were not).

Bruce Minnick

Corrected entry: Elizabeth Shue didn't reprise her role as Ali in this film. As a result, Daniel and Myagi are seen leaving the tournament at the beginning without Ali which quite frankly makes no sense whatsoever. There is no known reason why she wouldn't leave with them.

Gavin Jackson

Correction: Mr Miyagi tells Daniel to hurry up and not leave the ladies waiting, who have already left and are waiting at a resturant for dinner.

The Fifth Element (1997)

Corrected entry: When Leeloo is first revealed, she is completely naked, then thermal straps are placed over her. In the next shot, she then has a white strappy outfit. When did this outfit ever be put on? Only thermal straps were placed over her, no outfit.

Craz

Correction: The thermal straps became the outfit she was wearing (notice that most of the straps match the placement on the outfit). They just did not show all of the extra straps being added.

Alien (1979)

Corrected entry: When the ship explodes, you "hear" the explosion. Space is a vacuum therefore you would not hear the explosion.

Craz

Correction: This is a commonly accepted mistake. Almost all sci-fi movies add the sounds of explosions and lasers to enhance the movie, to make it more exciting. If you have space battles without the sounds, it would be boring, even though it would be accurate.

Corrected entry: When Vic asks Gracie why New Jersey is called the "Garden State" and Gracie gives her answer, she then says that it is fixed to where she will make it into the Top Five. But then later when Vic is about to leave because the FBI is leaving, Gracie says after the Top 10 she is on her own. (00:58:15 - 01:17:55)

Correction: That is because the FBI was leaving, Grace was no longer required to be in the final 5 (since the job was over), so if she wanted to continue, she would be on her own (no help to advance in the contest and no FBI backup).

Corrected entry: When Marty receives the letter from Doc in 1885, it is raining. But in the 1st and 3rd movie, there is no rain. (01:34:00)

Correction: When Marty receives the letter, he is outside of town (after just watching Doc jump to the past when the car was hit by lightning). There may have been no rain in the center of town, but a few miles outside of town might have been raining.

Corrected entry: How is it that Louie can survive by eating rats for ages and still look human (i.e. not looking like a huge rat) but when Lestat is 'killed' after drinking the blood from dead bodies and is dumped in the swamp and survives by killing and drinking the blood of the alligator his appearance is drastically changed upon his unexpected return?

Correction: Lestat looking different had nothing to do with the blood that he was drinking. He looked like that because he had not completely healed from Claudia's attack (his body had drained of all of it's blood). It would have taken a very, very long time for him to recover in the swamp. The animal's blood was helping him, but he would need human blood (or another vampire's blood) to heal quicker. In Anne Rice's vampire universe, it takes a while to heal that much and extensive damage.

Relics - S6-E4

Corrected entry: After Geordie and Riker get Scotty out of the transporter, Riker introduces himself, including the ship's name. As soon as Scotty hears him say "Enterprise", he says "The Enterprise, I should have known, I'll bet Jim Kirk himself pulled the old girl out of mothballs to come looking for me". But Scotty was there when Kirk was "killed" by the Nexus in the beginning of Star Trek: Generations. That took place before this episode. Since Scotty was there when Kirk "died", how could be bet that it was Kirk who came looking for him?

Correction: This is a mistake, but more of a mistake on the movie Generations, then the series. This episode was written and aired (1992) before the movie Generations (1994). At the time the episode was written and aired, the events of the Generations had never happened (so what Scotty said could have been true, at that time).

Corrected entry: When Gandalf and Pippin are talking about death, there are spots of what seems to be water on Gandalf's sword, they change between shots. It's not orc blood because it is clear.

Sol Parker

Correction: It is possible that it was water drops on his sword. I am sure that some of the people or soldiers were using water to help put out the fires. It is possible that Gandalf was splashed with some water, even though we did not see it specifically happen.

Bruce Minnick

Corrected entry: This is in the "Special Edition" one, in the very last few scenes as the Death Star has been destroyed it shows all the different cities celebrating. I believe it is the shot of Corascaunt city, you can see a Storm Trooper crowd surfing over all the people.

Correction: The storm tropper was not crowd surfing. He was trying to put down the celebration and the crowd picked him up to throw him. He was not celebrating with them, he was being attacked by them.

Corrected entry: When Jamie is describing the Turboman doll to Arnie; Jamie says: "accessories sold separately, batteries not included"; but in a later scene, when Arnie is breaking into the neighbours' house to steal his Turboman doll, he shakes it and it says "it turbo time". Where'd the mystery batteries come from?

Correction: The father could have put the batteries in the doll, before wrapping it.

Corrected entry: When the family comes down Christmas morning, it's obvious they've all just woken up (we see the kids getting up, the father is rubbing his eyes). But there's a blazing fire in the fireplace that looks like it was just built.

Krista

Correction: The mother looks wide awake when she comes down with the father. Besides, just because the father was rubbing his eyes, that does not mean he just woke up. My father would wake up before everyone to turn on the Christmas lights and would still be tired.

Bruce Minnick

Corrected entry: When Santa and Curtis are getting a ride back to the North Pole with the Tooth Fairy you can see Curtis being dangled by Christmas tree lights and yelling "fly higher". When they all arrive at the North Pole, Curtis is still yelling but you can see that there are no lights hanging down from the Tooth Fairy for Curtis to be attached to.

Correction: The lights are there, just as they arrive at the balcony they blink off. You can even see them laying on the floor of the balcony as the tooth fairy leaves. According to the DVD.

Corrected entry: Axel is speaking to Paul Rieser's character on the phone in Det. Rosewood's home and Rieser says it's 1 AM, but later that night at the police station Det. Taggart says it's almost 11 PM when Axel wants to go to the gun range.

Correction: I am not sure what the mistake is specifically. Axel's partner in Detroit says it is 1 am, which means it is 10 pm in LA when Axel calls. There is only approximately an hour between making the call and deciding to go to the gun club. I do not see anything wrong with this.
