Continuity mistake: When Gull shows Abberline his autopsy kit, Abberline takes out one of the knives and touches the middle of the blade with his hand. In the next shot, his hand has suddenly moved to the top of the knife and he's touching the point with a finger. In the following shot, his hand is on the middle of the blade again.

Batman Begins (2005)

Continuity mistake: When the thug attacks Bruce in the beginning of the movie, the man grabs his hair, yanking it straight up. In the next shot, he's suddenly yanking it sideways. His action is shown in real time, visible on screen at all times, and therefore can't be corrected by saying it only takes a fraction of a second to move his hand.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 mistake picture Video

Continuity mistake: In the forest, when Hermione is sitting with her back against a tree, reading, the book changes position between shots after Harry walks over to her. In a close-up, the top of the book is over her knees, in the following wide-shot, the book is below her knees, and then moves back to its original position in the next shot. (01:33:10)

Continuity mistake: When Jason is impersonating the God Who Comes, the position of the blue rope tying Sam to the roof of the car, keeps changing position between shots. For example, when Mike Spencer says, "You're the God Who Comes?", the rope is under Sam's chest; in other shots, it's behind his neck. (00:33:30)

Continuity mistake: During the trial, when a vampire suffers the punishment of having his fangs wrenched out with pliers, the amount and position of the blood on his face changes repeatedly between shots. (00:23:35)

Continuity mistake: When Mina drops the Arabian Nights while talking to Lucy, both reach down to pick it up, and we see one of Lucy's hands touching the book on the floor. In the next shot, both her hands are at her waist. (00:19:10)

Continuity mistake: When Arthur sits by Lucy's bed while watching over her, as Dracula appears outside the window, there's a quick shot of the bedroom from outside, and Arthur is nowhere to be seen. In the next shot inside the room, he sitting by the bed again. (01:16:15)

Continuity mistake: When Renfield blurts out to Dr. Seward "I need lives for the master", he puts his right hand over his mouth, but in the next shot, he's holding his left hand over his mouth. (00:25:30)

In the next shot from inside the vault, the door has moved much further away from the wall. The position changes in the next shot as well. (00:08:10)

Continuity mistake: When Nightshade finds the crucifix inside Dracula's coffin, as he's holding it in his hands and says, "Rubies", the position of his fingers changes between the close-up and the previous and following wide-shot. (00:23:20)

Continuity mistake: When Van Helsing opens the chessboard containing the leeches, the lid, consisting of four triangular pieces, is sticking straight up. In the next shot looking down the opening, the lid has mysteriously disappeared. (00:07:20)

Continuity mistake: After Solina is spattered with blood after Dax is killed by one of the traps in the vault, the amount of blood on her white coat keeps changing. For example, on the plain, as Dracula moves his head down towards her neck to bite her, there's a huge bloodstain on her shoulder, which wasn't there in the previous shots. (00:14:35)

Continuity mistake: After Dracula bites Solina, there's a thin streak of blood on his chin. After Marcus shoots him, the streak becomes thicker, and then becomes thinner again when Marcus shoots the roof of the plane. (00:26:25)
