Working Girl (1988)

Corrected entry: When Katherine reserves a room at a hotel she talks German. From her weird diction it's obvious that Sigourney Weaver has somehow memorized the text without actually knowing what she is saying. (00:21:50)

NancyFelix

Correction: Sigourney Weaver apparently knows German, so this mistake is wrong. Also, it sounds like she is conversing in German like a natural, and it sounds like conversational German to me.

Unless it's known that Sigourney Weaver knew German prior to 1988 this correction is wrong. Also, how she is talking, be it sounding memorized or natural, is personal perception. This alleged mistake has no supporting evidence so doesn't deserve to be an entry here.

Correction: From Ms Weaver's IMDb page: "Speaks French and German fluently."

Working Girl (1988)

Corrected entry: At the beginning of the movie Tess goes to work. When she enters the building she is wearing a brown coat. When she arrives at the office she is wearing a grey jacket. (00:03:45)

NancyFelix

Correction: The brown coat was a heavy winter outer coat. The grey jacket is a lightweight jacket that goes with her outfit.

Working Girl (1988)

Corrected entry: When Tess catches her boyfriend Mick having sex with one of her friends in their bedroom Mick is shocked and embarrassed, but the girl just keeps going as if nothing was happening. It's pathetic acting. (00:29:00)

NancyFelix

Correction: Not really. She, in fact, does stop and her eyes move slowly to Tess. Then when Mick is trying to talk his way out of it, Doreen puts her arm on his shoulder and puts her face in her hand, also embarrassed. She IS still breathing hard, however, because the sex abruptly stopped.
