Velma: Trouble sleeping?
Daphne: Ah, yeah.
Velma: Are you okay? What's wrong?
Daphne: I'm fine.
Velma: You're obviously not fine, Daphne. Why don't you tell me about it?
Daphne: I'm in love with Fred. There, I said it!
[Velma rolls her eyes.]
Velma: Really? Wow, I never would have... Gosh, that's a shocker.

Daphne: Fred, why do ghosts and monsters and stuff turn up where ever we go? Is it something about us?
Fred: No, this happens to everyone.
Daphne: What?
Fred: It would be too much of a coincidence if this only happened to us. So logically everyone must run into ghosts and monsters all the time.
Daphne: Really?
Fred: Sure, it's simple math. They must be everywhere.

Shaggy: Do you have anything bigger than the extra-extra-large?
Waitress: Yeah, but it's not on the menu. Oh and you have to sign a release saying we're not responsible if you die.
Shaggy: We'll take it!
Scooby: Yeah!
Waitress: Alrighty. But I'll have to move you to another table.
Shaggy: Why?
Waitress: Because this one is smaller than your pizza.
Shaggy and Scooby: Awesome!

Mel Richmond: You must be from the show, right?
Fred: Yeah, we're contestants.
Mel Richmond: Right. Well, uh, good luck to you. You make a cute couple.
Daphne: We're not a cute couple! I mean, heh, we're not a couple... So we can't be a cute one, although we would be if we were. Which we're not. I mean, it's not like we don't like each other, we just don't "like" like each other. It's just not likely. Right, Fred? Or do we? We don't right? Do we? Why are we talking about this so much? Can we just, change the subject now, please? This is none of your business!

Velma: Who are you?
Pauldini: I am The Great Pauldini!
[Pauldini makes an egg appear in his hand.]
Pauldini: My card.
Velma: Uh, that's an egg.
Pauldini:...Okay, egg, card, whatever. I made it appear, right? Can you do that? No, you can't because you're not a magician, heh! Who's a magician?
Velma: You are?
Pauldini: Oh, yeah, heh. Up high. That's what I'm talking about.

Daphne: Does it say anything in those books about that Opera House where we're shooting the show?
Velma: Yeah. It's almost a hundred years old. It's been closed since the 70's. And there are rumors that it's haunted.
Shaggy: Of course it's haunted. Like when do we ever go to a place that is not haunted?

Daphne: Hey, that's not the song we're doing.
Fred: This is a little something I wrote myself.
Shaggy: Like, that's catchy.
Fred: Eyes on the road! Eyes on the road!
Shaggy: Right.
Daphne: Wow, Fred, that's beautiful. I really like you. It! I like it! Not you. I mean I like you but... Heh, I, uh, like your song.

Continuity mistake: Before doing their tie breaker performance, Fred and Daphne get up on stage and are introduced by Brick. It cuts to a close up and suddenly Brick is standing right next to them. (01:10:15)

Continuity mistake: After Emma finishes her performance, Brick comes out on stage and gives the conclusion so she can leave. When he comes out, he stops and she is standing still on his right side. Camera cuts to a far shot and suddenly she is on his left side, and then turns to walk off stage. (01:07:00)

Continuity mistake: When Emma finishes her performance after the big car chase, she jumps off the star and slides on her knees to the edge of the stage. It cuts to a much further back shot, and suddenly she is quite a ways away from the edge of the stage, back next to the star. (01:06:55)

Factual error: Dewey corners the gang in the wrecked Mystery Machine and pulls out his duster, which a blade pops out of. There is no way that blade could have fit in the duster. The blade is much thicker than the handle of the duster, and it is longer than the handle and the feathers combined. (01:04:55)

Continuity mistake: Dewey's car begins rolling down the bridge - there are parts and debris that come off and are seen rolling with it. But just before the car hits and explodes, the debris falling with it vanishes. (01:04:40)

Continuity mistake: In the car chase at the end, Fred takes the Mystery Machine into some heavy traffic. Shaggy says he can't watch so Scooby puts his paws over Shaggy's eyes. For the next few shots, his paws keep alternating from being over Shaggy's eyes and not between close ups and views from the front of the van. (01:03:45)

Continuity mistake: In the Mystery Machine, Fred swerves around a car at an intersection and passes it. He then looks back to see if Dewey is following them, and the car they just passed vanishes. (01:03:15)

Continuity mistake: Dewey gets in his car and starts chasing the gang. In one part, his car is completely on the sidewalk. It cuts to an aerial view and the car is suddenly halfway off the sidewalk. (00:01:40)

Continuity mistake: Velma goes into the sound room to investigate Brick. She finds the microphone still on and taps it. Between shots, the mic's receiver part changes from being a sphere to a cylinder. (00:54:25)

Continuity mistake: In the sewers, the gang happen upon a part of the wall that has been collapsed, leaving a large pile of rubble in their path with an opening beside it. Fred, Velma, Daphne and Shaggy go all the way across, climbing over the rubble. Scooby stops at the top of it for a moment, and peers into the hole beside him. This scares out a cloud of bats that fly out at the gang. They fall over the railing, but are shown suddenly falling from the pile of rubble, when they had already passed that point except for Scooby. (00:45:05)

Continuity mistake: In the sewers under the Opera House, a bunch of rats rush out of a duct at the gang and it startles Shaggy. He backs up into the guard rail and knocks a large chunk of it loose, which falls away, leaving a large gap in the railing. Scooby quickly grabs Shaggy and pulls him away. Then the gap is shown again, and it is suddenly only about half the size it was in the previous shot. (00:44:30)
