Hocus Pocus (1993)

Corrected entry: In the scene near the end when the zombie is holding Max, he takes the knife from him and cuts open his mouth which had been sewed shut 300 years ago. As he does, you see moths fly out of his mouth. How could they get in his mouth if his mouth had been tightly sewed?

Azureth

Correction: Same way real insects get into human corpses. Other openings in the body such as the nose or after years of the flesh being fed on it would be easy for there to be an opening in his old skin.

The Last Samurai (2003)

Corrected entry: Near the beginning, the first time Algren goes to train the troops, and at the end, the general says they will leave to ambush the samurais troops at 6 A.M. However, seeing as he is in the military, he should've said 0600.

Correction: The 24 hour clock was not in use yet in the late 1800s.

Sereenie

Corrected entry: They cuss WAY to much in this movie for the time. This is set in '73, I would understand a curse word here and there, but nobody ever cussed as much as they did back then.

Azureth

Correction: Is there some meter that says people didn't cuss then as much as they do now? People have been using coloful language since language was created. Just because you didn't hear any cussing in 1973, doesn't mean no one cussed. It's all about what environment you were in. To say that the whole world used less bawdy language in the past is just another "myth" about how things are always better in the past. Bah. Growing up in the 70's and 80's the language I heard from the people around me was a lot worse than it is today.
