Resident Evil (2002)

Corrected entry: When Milla is fighting the dogs, and the camera pans across their faces, it's obvious that computer effects were used to make the dogs appear to have missing parts (ie. sections of ears, throats, etc. since the real dogs used in the scene would not have such extensive injuries).

Correction: Computer effects or not, these dogs are zombies. They look dead, weird and artificial. There is nothing obvious or revealing with the special effects in this scene.

Resident Evil (2002)

Corrected entry: Just after Rain wraps her hand from the zombie bite, the team picks up their guns and heads around a corner in the Hive. Look closely at Rain's gun hand - the bandage she just put on is gone...then back again within one camera shot.

Correction: She has her bandage on all the time. The bandage is wrapped in a way that the camera angle sometimes misses it.

Constantine (2005)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Keanu Reeves is killing the first demon, he lights a cigarette before entering the room, he then proceeds to place it on the desk (where it is seen often for some artistic flare) but when he puts it on the desk its not a cigarette, it is a cigar, or loosely rolled "blunt" which is why it is burning so slowly. (00:04:35)

Correction: This is really not a noticable mistake. It's impossible to see it burning slowly. Indeed it's not a regular cigarette, but it's an enlarged cigarette made for this scene (according to DVD commentaries).

Gladiator (2000)

Corrected entry: In the scene in the beginning of the film, Marcus Araelius is in his tent working on a document. The writing utensil he's using looks suspiciously like a number two pencil. This is seen again just after the Battle of Carthage; Commodus repeats the scene, working on some document with, obviously, a number two pencil.

Correction: You really don't think the director is stupid enough to use a number two pencil? Twice? That is an ink pen.

Gladiator (2000)

Corrected entry: In the very first scene, after the battle is done, Maximus shouts 'Roman Victor' If you watch very closely, his lips are not moving to what he says.

Correction: They match perfectly. Also the scene is played in slightly slow motion for dramatic purpose. It would sound silly if the voice would be in slow motion as well, wouldn't it?

Resident Evil (2002)

Corrected entry: In the laser room on the way to the Red Queen, a female soldier loses her head. This happens while she stands on the right side of the corridor. Later, when you see the dead bodies lying on the floor, she lies on the left side.

Correction: If you look closely she is still lying on the right side of the corridor.

Corrected entry: As the crew begins their trek to the whaling camp, their faces are almost entirely exposed throughout the journey. With all her talk of safety and being prepared, you would think that Lex would encourage complete coverage against the elements. Wouldn't this result in severe frostbite in the middle of Antarctica?

Steph_Jared

Correction: Not necessarily. They travel most of the trip to the whaling camp inside a snowmobile. And covering their faces is only needed when it's windy, which it isn't in this case.

Mortug

Corrected entry: Near the end of the film, when Violet is reading the long-lost letter, her lips are out of sync with the words you hear her saying. (I have seen this film twice so I know it's not a one-off).

Correction: I've seen the scene three times. You are wrong. Her lips are in perfect sync.

Mortug

Corrected entry: Close to the beginning, when Lex, Sebastian, and Miller are talking on the side of the boat, the life preserver in the background keeps changing from left of the hatch to the right. (00:11:00)

The-Immortal

Correction: No, if you look closely the life preserver is left to the hatch with the writing "Cabins 7-14" above it. Then you see the life preserver to the right of the hatch with the writing "Cabins 15-21" above it.

Constantine (2005)

Corrected entry: In the first exorcism scene, John burns the girl with a symbol. A couple of shots later, the burn mark has moved.

Correction: The burn mark never moves. It sticks to the left of her forehead throughout the whole scene.

Constantine (2005)

Corrected entry: When Constantine wants to find out what happened to Angela's sister, he sticks his feet in a pot filled with water. After the scene where he has been in hell and Angela comes in again, he is sitting on the chair but the pot of water has disappeared.

Correction: If you look closely you can see Constantine has kicked the pot to his left.

Constantine (2005)

Corrected entry: When Constantine tries to kill himself by cutting his wrists you see his watch briefly - it's about 6.29. A few minutes later there is a close-up after he has taken it off: it is now 5.20.

Correction: Everytime we see the watch it shows about 5:20. Even the clock on the wall shows 5:20.

Corrected entry: When the first Predator is killed by the Alien, how does the Alien see it, given that it's fully cloaked in invisibility? All the Alien should be able to see is Lex, but it deliberately attacks the Predator, not her. There is nothing in any Alien films to suggests that they can see in infra-red (and even though the Alien's in this film are genetically modified, there's still nothing in there that suggests they have this ability), so there's no logical way it should have been able to know exactly where the Predator was before attacking it.

Correction: The invisibility cloak doesn't make the Predator totally invisible. Also the Alien could have smelled the Predator, as they are great hunters as well.

Mortug

Corrected entry: It has been said before on this site that apparently we or Lex would not have heard the helicopter land, as it could have come from the other direction (even though the echo would have been bounced all around the high mountains), but as she was so close to the top (and the helicopter was not there a few previous shots back) surely some surface snow, from the landing helicopter, would have been blown over the edge landing on her?

Correction: In fact you can see snow coming over the edge above her in the scene after she says "Let me guess, he's suing us again?" This should indicate the possibility of a helicopter landing over her.

Corrected entry: When Owen Wilson gets to the original rendezvous point he calls up the carrier. Gene Hackman informs him that they can no longer pick him up there and to head for a safe zone. After a short argument Wilson cuts transmission when he hears the Serb troops coming. Hackman then asks the comms staff "Where is he?" to which they reply that they don't know. He tells them to triangulate the signal to locate Wilson's position. How come they don't know his position when he was at a rendezvous point that they gave him the coordinates for?

Correction: They knew where he was. That's how they managed to triangulate him in the first place. Because Wilson cut the transmission they wanted an accurate position to see with their own eyes how he was doing via the satelite.

Eraser (1996)

Corrected entry: In the shot of the house (the very first shot of the movie) you can see through the curtains that the lights are on inside. Yet when the camera shots are inside the house, the lights are suddenly off. (00:00:05)

Davidian

Correction: When it cuts to the inside of the house you can see the lights are on for about a second before they are switched off.

Mortug

Corrected entry: When Neville has the Boggart explained to him, he switches positions between shots. (00:40:10)

Correction: Because of the camera angles there is NO way to tell if he change position whatsoever. He is standing perfectly still.

Mortug

Corrected entry: When Paul dances with Tina, she takes off his cap and puts it on, but a few shots later, Paul has it back on. (00:38:35)

Correction: There's a time gap where he had enough time to take the cap back.

Days of Our Lives (1965)

Show generally

Corrected entry: At the very end of the 5/31/05 episode, Phillip and his army unit are fighting in Iraq, and he falls on his face in front of a hand-made sign that says "Danger: Mine Field." There are 2 major problems with that. 1, if they're in Iraq, why is that sign written in English handwriting? 2, the purpose of a mine field is to kill people by surprise. so why would there be a sign indicating the mines being there?

Correction: 1, It was written by another unit. 2, The sign is there to prevent someone in any American unit from being killed by surprise.

Corrected entry: The wall that Sean emerges from after Rennie was injected with drugs is obviously a set, because you can see the wooden props holding the wall up behind him through the doorway. (01:10:15)

Correction: Those are poles supporting the walls. There's nothing wrong with that.
