Continuity mistake: "Gramms" (Maggie Westmoreland) lifts her cup of coffee using both hands and takes a sip. By the time she lowers her cup to the table, her glass of water goes from over half-full to less than half-full. Nobody refills the glass, but it is back to over half-full. Continuity mistake: Tracey sets her covered coffee cup next to another one on the desk, which is close to a stack of papers that reach almost to the cup's rim (lower part of the plastic lid). Tracey types on her keyboard and the stack of papers next to the coffee cups is less than half as high. (00:08:57 - 00:09:19)
Character mistake: Co-worker Todd Pearlman tells Tracey, "Everything is going to change around here once I get the 'editor in chief' position. Hey, but don't worry. Nothing is going to change between you and I." The word "between" is a preposition and the correct prepositional phrase is "between you and me" - something a high school student should know and a basic grammar skill required for any editor or employee in a writing-related agency (publishing company). Trivia: The correct spelling of Kylee Bush is "Tracey", as shown on the "Congratulations" banner at her office and under "Cast" at the end of the movie. Movie-related websites (including IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes, and The Movie Database) apparently receive the same listing for "Cast", which incorrectly spells her name "Tracy". (00:22:30 - 01:26:28)
