Continuity mistake: Before Spike is about to receive a kiss from the Queen of Sports, he is wearing nothing on his head, but when the curtain goes up, we cut back to Spike and he is now wearing a crown.

Continuity mistake: When Spike writes Droopy's note to the judge about him cheating in every event, he folds over the page and you can see there is nothing in his left hand, but in the next shot he is now holding a pen.

Continuity mistake: When the announcer says the Droopy and Spike have to follow the white line during the mile run, you can see that Spike's vest has a red line on the bottom. When he rubs off the white line on the track in the next shot, the red line has gone.

Continuity mistake: When Spike is blowing his trumpet when Droopy is lining up his shot in the golf round, he is wearing a white hat on his head. When the golf ball hits the wall and goes back into Spike's trumpet, he is no longer wearing his hat.

Continuity mistake: When the judge is introducing Spike and Droopy, there is a piece of paper in his right hand that keeps disappearing and re-appearing between shots.

Continuity mistake: When we see a wide view of the stadium at the beginning of the cartoon, you can see there is nothing on the curtain where the judges' stand is. But when the camera pans in on the judge, there are now banners on the curtain.

Continuity mistake: When Spike is disguised as a fortune teller, he writes on a piece of paper: "To the Judge - I cheated in every event. Signed: Droopy". When he hands the piece of paper to the judge, the "To the Judge" and "Signed" with the dotted line are missing.

Continuity mistake: When the judge is introducing Spike and Droopy, there is a piece of paper in his right hand that keeps disappearing and re-appearing between shots.
