The Lincoln Lawyer is about the rape of a prostitute and the murder of others and a lawyer who normally gets his clients off very lightly. This time, though, a rich and entitled person goes too far, and Matthew McConaughey is the one who'll bring the perpetrators to justice before it gets worse in this 2011 crime drama. Part police procedural, part slick and savvy talk, and a light whodunit with a likable cast.

Continuity mistake: When Mick enters his house that Louis broke into, the door opens from the right. When Louis leaves at the end of the scene it closes to the left.
