Visible crew/equipment: When the police are leaving the motel, you can see a camera reflection in the S.W.A.T. van as it drives by.

Hank Evans: Listen, Pocahontas, unless you put your ear to the ground, you'll never hear the buffalo comin'!
Irene P. Waters: Ok, look, I don't know what that means!
Trivia
Jim Carrey is the father to three grown black sons. This is probably a nod to Andy Kaufman (who Carrey would later play in "Man On The Moon"). Kaufman also had a bit where he would introduce the audience to his family, and then present his "sons," three grown black men. See more...
Me, Myself & Irene (2000) - 68 mistakes
Directed by Peter Farrelly, starring Chris Cooper, Jim Carrey, Renée Zellweger (add more)
Genres: Comedy
Revealing: When Charlie shoots the cow there is no bloodshed at all, even though the cow is supposed to be alive.
Continuity: The blood comes flowing out of Charlie's hand before he gets his thumb shot off.
Continuity: When Charlie shoots the cow, he had turned off the headlight of the motorcycle. After he shoots the cow the first time, the headlight is back on.
Continuity: Right after Charlie and Irene push the car over the cliff, Charlie asks Irene if she grabbed the wallet off the dash and she says no. Later in the motel, when they are lying in bed, Charlie is sharing family pictures with Irene and they talk about carrying pictures in their wallets. Charlie's was at the bottom of the lake with the car. [The deleted scene on the DVD doesn't really help - in it Hank jumps off the cliff to get his wallet, and then Irene follows. However the movie shows Charlie and Irene looking down the 30 meter high cliff and walking away with dry clothes. Deleted scenes can "disallow" a mistake only if they fill in plausible back story, rather than contradicting the "proper" movie directly.]
Continuity: When Irene and Charlie are in the water near the end, the clouds change between each shot.
Visible crew/equipment: When Charlie and Irene are driving Irene says 'He did save our lives'. After this it goes to Charlie. Here the boom mic can be seen in the top left of the window.
Factual error: In the flashback scene in 1982 when Charlie and Layla are on the picnic blanket, they're drinking Budweisers out of late 1990's bottles that came in a late 1990's six-pack.
Deliberate "mistake": When Layla is having babies and the first one comes out there is already a nappy on the baby.
Continuity: Just as Charlie reaches Dickie and Irene on the bridge, Dickie is looking forward. In the next shot he is looking down and behind him.
Continuity: In the motel scene Charlie gets two cokes. When he returns we see Irene taking off her left shoe twice from different camera angles.
Continuity: When the little girl starts screaming her long hair moves from her back to her front.
Audio problem: When Charlie and Irene are cruising on his motorcycle just after he leaves his meds in the motel room, you can hear the bike shift gears, but you do not see Charlie press the clutch or use the gear shift lever.
Continuity: In the beginning of the movie, when Charlie and Shonté start arguing, Shonté takes his jacket off and throws it to one side. The jacket continually changes sides throughout the scene.
Visible crew/equipment: When Shonte Jr and the boys answer the door to the Colonel, you can see the camera and crew in the reflection of the door.
Continuity: Right near the end of the movie when Irene is saying goodbye to Charlie, her makeup is a lot darker to when she is driving away in the car, it looks a lot lighter and rubbed off. When she is pulled over again by the police and gets out of the car her makeup is once again a lot darker.
Continuity: At the health food restaurant Hank gets annoyed with a slurping kid. At this point his hands change between holding on to his chair to lying on the table.
Continuity: When Charlie tries to get the little girl off the street there are the same two extras walking by in short succession.
Continuity: At the very end when Whitey and the boys are looking for Charley's finger, they are splashing around in a very muddy river, but from the underwater shots the water is quite clear.
Revealing: After Charlie gets his thumb shot off by Dickey near the end, in most of the shots you can easily see that Charlie is bending his thumb behind the rest of his hand instead of computer graphics removing it.
