Heaven & Earth

Le Ly goes back to Vietnam and introduces her first son to his father, Anh. She goes back to her village and introduces her sons to her mother. Le Ly's brother complains that Le Ly left her village and her family suffered while she was away. Le's mother tells her that she's proud of her, that she's done a good job as a mother and that it was a good decision to go live in the U.S. so she could have a better life. The final scene is Le Ly talking about how she "walked between Heaven and Earth" during her life. Some on screen text before the credits mention that Le Ly went back to living in the U.S. and that through a foundation called East Meets West she set up health clinics in Vietnam.
