Factual error: No real archery instructor would allow Princess Mia or anyone for that matter, to shoot with people in front of the shooting line and that close to Princess Mia. And, the arrows aren't retrieved until all have been shot, not after every one.

Continuity: When Princess Mia is seeing her suite for the first time, we see her "closet" and in the middle is a red/orange tufted ottoman that has nothing on it. There is a second shot of the ottoman and there is nothing on it. But then we see Fat Louie on the ottoman pressing a second remote to open/close drawers.

Continuity: After Princess Mia and Nicholas kiss by the fountain, as Mia says, "Stop trying to confuse me", she is about to walk past the statue. In the next shot, she's already passed it.

Continuity: When Princess Mia and Andrew are running after her scarf at the seashore, we see Brigitte and Brigitta also running after the scarf, just as Mia says, "I've got it." But as soon as Andrew and Mia grab the scarf, the next shot shows Brigitte and Brigitta facing the opposite direction and holding parasols, standing behind Andrew's parents.

Continuity: When Princess Mia stops the parade and goes over to talk to Carolina, we see Carolina's hair from a back, side view and it is pretty messy. Then we see a front shot and her hair is very neatly tucked behind her ear with her braid hanging neatly by itself. Then we see a quick back shot as Princess Mia asks the boys' names that are messing with Carolina and we can't see her ear but the hair over it is very messy. Back to a front shot and it is neat again until Carolina tells Princess Mia that the boys were tugging on her braid and she demonstrates by pulling on her braid.

Continuity: When Princess Mia and Nicholas duck into a closet to finish discussing the "lie-dance," we see Nicholas reach across to turn off the closet light. As he touches the light switch, we see he has a wristwatch on. But the very next shot is a close-up of him actually twisting the switch and he has no watch on.

Continuity: In the courtroom scene when you see a man sleeping and leaning to the left, but the next shot of him, he's leaning straight up.

Continuity: When we see Asana mattress surfing, the mattress she comes down the slope has no label on the front. But when she reaches the bottom, there is a label (or two) on the top front center.

Continuity: When Princess Mia goes to hold her baby brother Trevor, her mom has him wrapped up with the covers over his head; we can't see his head. When Princess Mia takes him from her mother his head is still covered. But in the next shot, as she turns around toward the camera, his head is uncovered and has a white knit cap on it. But then after they take a few steps and her mother talks to her, his head is covered back up.

Other: The engagement ring that Mia gets at the beginning is larger than the one she gives back to him at the wedding.

Continuity: When Mia is with that prince using arrows, her elbow is way high up. When the prince runs his hand over her arm, it is straight, then in the next shot it is high up again.

Revealing: It is quite noticeable that during the party, the "rising star of opera" is lip-synching. Her posture and mouth movements are not like that of an actual opera singer, and there are no visible vibrations of her throat when she sings.

Continuity: When Princess Mia is eating ice cream in the kitchen, a blob of ice cream appears on the left corner of her mouth for one shot, then disappears.
