Club Dread

Broken Lizard is surrounded by limber, wanton women on a booze-soaked island resort owned by Coconut Pete (Paxton), a rock star has-been. But the non-stop party takes a turn for the weird when dead bodies start turning up. Everyone begins to look suspicious. Could it be Sam (Stolhanske), of the Fun Police brigade, who is quick-on-the-trigger with his tequila loaded super-soaker; Jenny (Daniel), the over-sexed, fitness instructor; Juan (Lemme), the flamboyant diving instructor with a secret third-world past; Putman (Chandrasekhar), the bratty-British tennis coach/fanatic; Dave (Soter), the ecstasy-crazed, adopted nephew of Coconut Pete; or the burly masseuse blessed with a creepy touch--that can render anyone into instant Jell-O? Can the inhabitants of Pleasure Island unite, solve the mystery and restore happy hour to this tropical bacchanal?

Continuity mistake: As the girls run from the killer, the one girl is shirtless as she starts to run, holding her shirt in front of herself to cover her chest. The camera changes to a rear view and now she is running with the shirt in her hand swinging wildly. The camera changes again and suddenly she is running and putting her shirt on, already pulled over her head, a major change from the last shot. Finally, the camera angle changes again and she has her shirt on completely. All of her shirt/hand positions change instantly between shots.

Question: Why didn't Sam die after being stabbed/drowned/chopped in half? I have no idea.

Answer: This is a joke referring to the numerous slasher movies where the killer survives all most anything and still comes back. Like when the killer is killed of in the end of the movie but then reappears in the sequel.
