Secretary (2002) - 13 mistakes

Continuity: When Lee is burning her leg with the hot kettle in her bedroom, the way in which the pink towel is wrapped around her head completely changes between shots.

Continuity: Lee makes a typo in the letter, spelling the word 'knowledge' incorrectly and Edward circles the end of the word. However as she reads the same letter, we see the word 'illuminating' is the word which has been misspelt and now the whole word is circled. Also the word was surrounded by text when Edward circled it, but when Lee is reading it, the word is at the end of the sentence with no words following it.

Continuity: Between the wideshot and closeup of Lee picking up the plate of food from Edward's desk, all the items around the plate (green glass, ornate box, etc.) completely rearrange themselves.

Continuity: Lee throws her sewing kit and case of cutting tools into the river, as they hit the water we see a brief shot of them floating. When the shot changes to below the water, however, both items are sinking rapidly.

Continuity: When Lee is eating with Peter in Wash & Dine there is a menu on the table they're sitting at, which faces out towards the camera. But in one wideshot is has changed to facing the other direction.

Visible crew/equipment: When Lee arrives at the office on her interview, as she gets out of the car as it's raining you can see a crewmember and a boom reflected in the car door window.

Continuity: When Peter is pouring out more red wine for Lee in the Wash & Dine, in the first shot he is holding the wine bottle with one hand, but in the next shot he is gripping it with both hands.

Continuity: When Lee brings in a packet of doughnuts and coffee for Edward, she positions the packet straight and neat. But in the next shot the packet is facing diagonally and also the books on the table are stacked differently.

Visible crew/equipment: As Tricia jumps on the brown jacket and says "tell him to sign the settlement," a crew-member wearing a cap is reflected in the glass screening to her right.

Continuity: Mr. Grey shows his secretary a letter that has a typo; she's apparently misspelled the word "knowledge." He then makes her read the letter aloud while he spanks her. However, the word "knowledge" is not in the letter she reads.

Continuity: Just before he spanks her for the first time, he circles a letter that was misplaced in a word. Later, when he gets her to read the same letter, a whole word is circled.

Visible crew/equipment: When Lee holds her case of cutting tools and bag of iodine over the river, as the camera pulls back, the camera is clearly reflected in the plastic lid of her case.

Visible crew/equipment: When Tricia is waiting for Lee, she returns and says "I'm afraid he's gone." Then the phone rings, and as Lee walks over to it, a boom mike is reflected in the glass doors behind her.
