Other mistake: During the scene where Phoenix is questioning the leader of the future society in his office, he says at least one word (hell) that he should have been fined for, and isn't. We see that there is a ticket printer in the room in a later scene, when Savage sets it off during his own confrontation. (01:06:50)
Other mistake: When Simon Phoenix kicks through the windshield of the police car during his first fight with the SAPD, the windshield easily breaks into several large segments, as opposed to spider-webbing like real windshields made from safety glass do. Glass that would completely shatter and collapse into the car from a simple kick would be completely unsafe and illogical for a society that's supposed to be more technologically advanced than ours.
Other mistake: It seems curious that the museum, even in the weapons display, would have functional firearms and LIVE munitions of any sort, even if no one would be interested in ever taking and using them.
Suggested correction: That was the point of it all. This society believed no-one would ever want to get a hold of those weapons so they put them on display to show how barbaric the previous generations were. It's really no different than a museum today putting swords and spears on display.
Other mistake: During John Spartan and Simon Phoenix's first fight in the museum, Phoenix hides behind a statue/display and swears, but the machine that gives the Verbal Morality Code, things do not go off, like they did before for Phoenix.
Other mistake: When Spartan is talking to the old Zack Lamb, he says, "Shit, you were a damn good flier." When says "shit", the morality machine buzzes, but the red light doesn't come on until he says "damn," where it buzzes again.
Other mistake: When Huxley delivers the line "Let's blow this guy" a hair, fiber, or scratch is visible on the film at the bottom of the screen slightly right of center. The contaminant is visible again when Huxley delivers the line "Whatever" a few seconds later.
Other mistake: The Verbal Morality Code seems to be applied in an almost haphazard fashion. Several times throughout the movie, both Spartan and Phoenix swear, and do so near an area where they should be vocally reminded of breaking the code, in fact have been previously reminded, and in spite of them not moving from that location are not warned again in the face of repeated swearing.
Other mistake: As Phoenix starts to say, "Spartan? John Spartan? They'll let anyone into this century," you can see the podium Phoenix is ducking behind shift to one side unnaturally, indicating an editing error.
Suggested correction: Maybe it's because Phoenix isn't coded, so the swear printer doesn't know who to fine, and for that matter, because of it, it may not even register that it actually is being said by a human (it might be assuming it is a recording) since there is no voiceprint/coding match to attach the fine to.

False correction as when Simon was using the computer on the street (the "damn I'm possessed" scene) he curses there and it gives him a violation there. So therefore the machine in the leaders office should have given him a fine as well.

True, but it may also be a technological limitation based on proximity, (when Phoenix is in the booth, it knows that the person who violated the rule is right there, as it can easily "triangulate" his position based on there being multiple microphones in the booth for better background noise rejection, vs in a room where there are potentially multiple people in the same room.

This is too much of a stretch to justify a mistake in the film. You're making stuff up about non-existent technology that isn't fully explained in the film. The mistake stands, whether it was deliberate to keep the flow of the scene or a slip in dialog by the actor.
