And Starring Pancho Villa as Himself

The movie The Life of General Villa premieres in the U.S. and it's a hit. Frank Thayer and John Reed don't think the movie is all that great. Years later, Frank runs into Sam Drebben who tells Frank that the revolution against Huerta lasted only a few more years. The letter and medal from the beginning of the movie were sent to Frank by the Mexican kid who helped edit battle footage; the kid got married and Pancho Villa attended the wedding and baptism of the kid's child. Pancho Villa is assassinated in 1923. The film The Life of General Villa is lost to posterity.

Continuity mistake: When they are showing the movie in New York, there is a scene of all Pancho's army on the train as it is moving. The scene was right before the train track was blown up so there was never a chance for them to shoot that scene. Everyone was on the train.
