Continuity: When Max pulls out his 2nd flask after throwing the first one in the water, he is seen holding it in both hands, but as the camera angle changes to a side view he is now seen holding it high in his right hand only.
Continuity: When Ira walks into the office building to go to work, the lobby shows a different design of the outside of the building then what was seen when he walked in.
Continuity: When Milt announces that he is making a long distance call, Lucas is seen putting his cup down twice as the camera angle changes.

Continuity: When Brad and his partner are standing in front of Cal's desk, they are seen standing in different positions almost every time the camera angle changes throughout the scene.
Continuity: When Val walks into the office, Milt is seen sitting at the table with a magazine and his right leg on the table. The camera angle changes and he is now holding the magazine and both of his legs are on the table.
Continuity: Ira writes "I Have A Brain Tumor" on the wall and when the camera pans back to it after showing Carol's reaction, it is not in the same handwriting.
Continuity: When Brad and his partner walk into Cal's office they are seen just walking into the doorway with Brad in front of his partner, but when the camera angle changes to a side view, they are now right in front of Cal's desk that was a few feet away from the doorway walking side by side.
Continuity: When Max and Harry visit the cemetary the first time, Max tells the caretaker that he wants his mother's grave kept clean. The caretaker reaches down and grabs a bunch of leaves. The camera angle changes to a wide shot and the caretaker is seen reaching down and grabbing leaves again.
Continuity: In one scene, Ira's last name is revealed to be Chuvney, but the character is listed in the ending credits as Ira Stone.
Continuity: During the first skit of the movie, the stethoscope is seen in different locations on Max's neck almost every time the camera angle changes.
Continuity: During the first breakfast at Max's house, Harry is seen holding utensils in one shot and then not in the next and then holding them again in the next.
Continuity: When Max first walks into his office, he takes off his jacket and pants and gives them to his secretary for dry cleaning. She takes them and runs out of the office without closing the door. As the camera angle changes back to Max, you hear the door close.
