Continuity: In the scene where McHale rides his motorcycle out of the boat, the machine gun on the aft deck is off center (so he can drive past it). The rest of the time it's on the centerline of the boat.

Trivia
The admiral whose codename is Cobra (Ernest Borgnine) played the original McHale on T.V. in 1962 and in the first movie in 1964. See more...
Continuity: When McHale is developing the pictures at his house, Maj. Vladikov fires a missile at the wall and makes a hole in it. The hole changes shape in the very next scene to a perfectly round hole.
Continuity: When the cuban cop arrests the guys, he's on the phone and when he hangs up the phone he states that these 4 American Navy guys are going to allow him to see President Castro. He makes the statement and then sits in his chair and puts his cigar in his mouth. The camera angle changes to McHale who is looking in the window and we see the cop sitting down and putting the cigar in his mouth again.
Continuity: When Maj. Vladikov fires a missile at McHale's boat the missiles are fired straight up in the air but the next second they are traveling perfectly horizontal.
Continuity: When the terrorist is talking to his shrink on the beach, the shrink looks to the side in the front view and straight forward in the back view several times.
Continuity: When McHale goes back to his house after it was destroyed, he gets a bottled drink from the machine and when the little boy tells him about the village and ballfield, McHale walks out of the house and the drink is nowhere to been seen.
Continuity: When McHale goes home the items in the grocery bag he's carrying changes throughout the entire scene.
Continuity: When Maj. Vladikov fires the second missile at McHale's house, he jumps out of the window and we see him getting on his knees to stand up. The camera angle changes and we now see him rolling to his left and then standing up.
Continuity: This actually occurs several times throughout the film. Vladikoff has a very interesting speedboat. Not only is it fast, not only is it stealthy, but it actually generates new missiles. In the scene where McHale is at home, and again in the scene where Cobra is flying in, Vladikoff fires a missile, yet the very next shot shows the launch rack with two missiles.
Continuity: When McHale is giving Ens. Parker a secret mission, the camera angle from the back shows his snorkel close to his mouth but the camera angle from the front shows it much further away. Happens about 4 times during the scene.
Continuity: When Ens. Parker blows up in his swimsuit, the size of his legs change throughout the scene.
Continuity: When they pop Ens. Parker's swimsuit, he flies out of the room and lands on a tent which then collapses around him. When McHale and the guys get to him, he is now laying on top of the tent.
Continuity: When McHale and Lt. Carpenter sit on the rocks near the water you see her sit down and put her hat in her lap. The camera angle changes to a closeup and she is now holding the hat in front of her knees.
Audio problem: When the terrorist is talking to his shrink on the beach, you can hear the shrink talking while being filmed from the back, while his jaws are not moving.
