Continuity: During Mickey O'Hare's wake, Honest John's shot glass refills itself between shots, at the point where he asks Gussie Mausheimer, "What's a wawwy?"

Continuity: In the scene where Fievel walks in on a group of cats playing cards, Tiger slaps down his hand and yells "Rummy!" But once he gathers the cards and holds them up again, there's a 3 of Diamonds visible - which wasn't part of the original hand to begin with.

Continuity: When the secret weapon is released from Professor Digitalus' Museum, it demolishes the door and scares every cat onto the Star of Hong Kong's anchor. Just a few minutes later, Fievel can be seen passed out on an eyehook in the vacant museum. That's where a flame ignites a trail of kerosene, but when it soon becomes a full-blown fire, the door is once again intact (locks, chains and all) as though nothing happened.

Factual error: When Gussie Mausheimer is pointing to a map and outlining the secret weapon plan, east and west are switched on the compass rose.

Continuity: During "A Duo", Tiger picks up Fievel's cage and places it on a nearby step. Between shots, the cage tray decreases in size significantly (judging by the overhang).

Continuity: During the storm, two mice are shown playing a game of chess on a board which floats back and forth with the ship's motion. After the first mouse makes his move, it drifts across to player two. However, in the very next shot two things occur: the board's color changes from black & red to black & white, and the square pattern arrangement changes to that of a checkerboard (which means a black square is placed at the lower right hand edge of each player's side).

Continuity: When Papa's story is interrupted by the Cossack cats, some of the tableware gets knocked over and broken. But seconds later, in the shot where Fievel runs outdoors with a pot and spoon, all of the broken items reappear intact.

Continuity: When Fievel is making his way through the sewer looking for Papa, he enters the Mott Street Maulers' hideout where five cats are seen playing poker. The gray cat with a blue shirt is sitting on the carpet's edge, but in the next shot he's somewhere towards the middle instead.

Continuity: After Fievel tumbles from the railroad tracks, he can hear what sounds like Papa's violin coming from a building nearby. While he's running towards the street, his hat turns itself around between shots.

Continuity: When you see the water tower where Fievel is sleeping, the moon has already risen in the sky. But when he and Tanya start singing, the moon is just starting to rise.

Continuity: When Fievel is first heading down the storm drain, as he believes his father is playing his violin, he leaves his hat on the surface, but a few seconds later he is seen holding the hat as he gets closer to the gang of cats.

Other: When Fievel And Tony reunite on the streets of New York, Tony gets a piece of cheese off of a mouse trap. Watch that piece of cheese, cause Tony throws it up in the air, and you never see it come back down.

Factual error: When Fievel is being dressed by the pigeon there are two American flags in the background. The flags have too many stars for the mid 1880s, when the movie is set.

Continuity: When Fievel emerges from beneath a tea kettle cover and collapses onto the snow, Mama walks over and scolds him. A moment later, Fievel's feet are suddenly missing their pads.

Continuity: As Fievel is sleeping in the hay beneath a broken window at Orphan Alley, three bullies approach and start taunting him. In the next shot, Fievel is suddenly wrapped in a blanket, which is quickly pulled out from underneath him by the first bully.

Continuity: When Fievel is struggling to avoid the other cats on the player piano, Tiger appears on its right side and pounds the keys, just missing him. But Tiger instantly disappears from his location in the very next shot where Fievel jumps up to the music rolls.

Audio problem: When Warren T. Rat calls open season on Fievel, the cats all scramble at once to capture him. In one shot where Fievel is running from either end of the piano, he jumps upon the same key twice. The notes play, but the key never goes down at all.

Continuity: When Gussie is demonstrating a secret weapon plan for the other mice, she points to a world map, pushing a small wooden boat from the end of a dock all the way to Hong Kong and leaves it there for the remainder of her speech. After she's finished Gussie dismisses the mice, but now the boat has returned itself to the original location on the map.
