Suggested correction: I went and looked at both Chris version of Jason and Jason in the recent Part III. The Part III Jason outfit in Chris version has a lot darker clothes. Same style, just darker. That type of clothing is very similar though.

Continuity mistake: When Debbie is killed in the hammock, in all shots of her, the quilt covering the hammock net has patterns sown on it, such as flowers. However, in the closeup of Debbie as the knife comes through her chest, the quilt covering the hammock is the same one as before, however you can now see it is suddenly the other side of the quilt. Continuity mistake: When Chris and Rick get stuck in the woods, Rick puts a coat on Chris. In a wide shot Chris pulls the sleeves of the coat up and then starts adjusting the shoulders of the coat. It cuts to a closeup and she is now rolling the sleeve up again, and then adjusts the shoulders again too. (00:42:35)

Plot hole: Jason somehow manages to get Andy's dead body on the wooden ceiling rafter, with no blood dripping onto the hammock and staining it, or getting none onto the floor. Debbie then gets into the hammock, and about a minute later, blood starts dripping - for no apparent reason. Why?

Visible crew/equipment: When Loco, Fox and Ali stand by the van before they steal the gas, the long black boom pole is clearly reflected in the back window of the van. (00:35:25)

Continuity mistake: When the camera pans past the window, to the door, showing Chris walking up to the cabin, there is no painting hanging next to the door. When she gets in and talks with Rick, there is a long painting hanging to the right of the door. (00:22:25)

Suggested correction: No, but we don't know exactly what he might have brought. The first time we see him they're picking up Vera, so it's most likely he brought another bag that could contain the items. He only said to Vera that the small bag was his whole world, but he just met her (Andy mentioned he got him a date for the trip) and he's trying to get her to warm up to him.

Andy: God dammit, Shelly, why do you always have to be such an asshole?
Shelly: Sorry, and I'm not an asshole, I'm an actor.
Andy: Same thing.

Question: Can you still get this film in 3D? I heard that it's only in 2D now, but does anyone actually know if there's a DVD that has it in 3D?

Hamster

Chosen answer: It's was finally released in 3D on DVD in 2009.

Answer: Friday the 13th Part III in 3D is also available on Blu-ray as part of a set of all the films from 1980 to the reboot. I know because I own it. There are two pairs of 3D glasses included in the tin.
