Mistake Continuity: When Max goes to talk to Miss Cross after the initial opening of the Aquarium, she is sitting in a playhouse with several little kids around her. Max approaches and ducks under the low roof so he could sit down and talk, but somehow all the kids around Miss Cross have disappeared.

Mistake Revealing: At the fund raiser for the aquarium, a journalist interviews Max with a tape recorder but you can see that it is not running because the wheels inside are still.

Mistake Continuity: When Max shows the medal box to Mr Blume, there's, form left to right, "Perfect Attendance" and "Punctuality award" but when he points them, he says the name in the wrong order.

Mistake Continuity: At the end of the scene in the hospital's elevator, Max and Mr. Blume switches side.

Mistake Visible crew/equipment: When Max meets Mr Blume's wife at the parking, you can see the reflection of the crew on the building in the background.

Mistake Continuity: After Miss Cross resigns, she is shown packing her things in her classroom. She removes the middle one of three children's paintings on a board. When the camera shows the board a few seconds later, the top two paintings remain and the bottom one has been removed.

Mistake Continuity: When Miss Cross is correcting the exam, the sheets of paper changes between shots.

Mistake Continuity: When Max and Dirk are flying kites, the sky is cloudy but when Margaret lands her radio-controlled airplane, there's much less clouds in the sky.

Mistake Factual error: When Max and Dirk are at the parking lot flying a kite, Margaret shows up with her plane. When he looks at her map of the flight plan it says Magnum street, but it was filmed on Mangum (Delmar Stadium in Houston, TX).
