Revealing: When Tallulah and the girls are acting in the Fat Sam's Grandslam song look at Tallulah as they sing the 'Ra da da da da da' bit. She looks straight into the camera.

Bugsy Malone (1976) - 16 mistakes
Directed by Alan Parker, starring Jodie Foster (add more)
Continuity: After the song "Tomorrow" Bugsy and Blousey are in the cafe. Blousey has a drink and it has two straws and one spoon. The spoon keeps disappearing.
Continuity: When Fat Sam's gang sings 'Bad Guys', just after Snake Eyes says "Look at me, I'm dancing.", a broomstick appears to the right of Mario's barber shop which is not in the previous shot.
Plot hole: Captain Smolsky only gets hit in the back with the plaster. So why, later on, is his entire body covered in hardened plaster, like a mummy?
Continuity: Moments before Blousey Brown comes to Fat Sam's place for her audition, we see Tallulah kiss Bugsy in the centre of his forehead and leave a lipstick mark. A few moments later, however, the mark is much further over to the left hand side of his forehead.
Continuity: When Blousey and Bugsy are queuing up for the audition for the Lady Marley show, the girl behind her comes on before Blousey, even though she was behind Blousey.
Continuity: When Dandy Dan's gang invade Mama Lugini's, they smash the pane of glass, and jump through. When he smashes it, only about half of the pane falls out. Next shot, the gang are assembled, and the pane is fully smashed.
Continuity: When Fat Sam's gang sings 'Bad Guys' they take off their hats, revealing that their hair is out of place. In the next shot their hair is perfect again.
Continuity: When Fat Sam's gang are singing "Bad Guys", at the beginning of the song, just after they pick up the magazines, there is a close up of Snake Eyes. In this shot ("But don't it make your heart glad"), Snake Eyes does not have a toothpick in his mouth. In the next shot when it shows all four gang members he does have a toothpick in his mouth.
Continuity: When Blousey and Bugsy are eating ice cream, note in Blousey's close-ups (from the front), her left hand is on the straws, near her face. In the shots of Bugsy when it shows Blousey from behind, her left hand is resting at the bottom of the glass. This also occurs with her right hand repeatedly.
Continuity: At the auditions, the Can Can girls fall through the stage, ripping a large hole in it. When Blousey comes on, straight after, the destroyed scenery is perfect again.
Continuity: When Dandy Dan's gang are getting ready to throw the pies at Doodle, if you look at Laughing Boy's pie, in the first two shots the white creamy stuff on top is all over the sides. In the next two shots the pie is neat and tidy.
Revealing: When Lena enters, interrupting Blousey's audition, watch her closely. As she's doing her long and complex "Ill give you one more chance and them I'm out for good out out out" bit, she looks at the camera not just once, but quite a few times.
Audio problem: All the vehicles used in this film are pedal powered, yet all of them use the sound effects of a petrol engine when it is obvious that none of the vehicles have engines fitted.
Continuity: In the beginning, the gang are listening to the radio about the splurging of Roxy Robinson. Fat Sam, in his anger, shoots the white ball off the pool table. In the very next shot of him (when he says, "So tell me."), the white ball is back on the table as if he hadn't touched it.
Revealing: This film is set in New York, yet most of the "down and outs" seen towards the end of the film have London accents.
