Trivia: The film was originally 84 minutes long, but it was decided to cut it 75 minutes to allow more showings: In 1989 the cast were reunited for a special re-release of the film, with the restored footage to total the original 84 minutes, however some of the other scenes were lost because of a processing error, that resulted in eight minutes of lost footage.

Continuity mistake: When Mary Henry is speaking to her house keeper at the bottom of the stairs, Mary's left hand is level with the first rail, cut to the next shot in mid-sentence and her left hand is now on the fourth rail.
