Entry This was the only film that director Herk Hervey ever made.
Entry The low-budget film cost $30,000 and was filmed in Lawrence Kansas, while the abandoned amusement park was filmed at Saltair Utah.
Entry Candace Hilligoss, who plays Mary Henry, only made one other film, which was another B-movie called Curse of the living corpse, which was released in 1964.
Entry The film was originally 84 minutes long, but it was decided to cut it 75 minutes to allow more showings: In 1989 the cast were reunited for a special re-release of the film, with the restored footage to total the original 84 minutes, however some of the other scenes were lost because of a processing error, that resulted in eight minutes of lost footage.
Entry Director Herk Hervey appears in a non-speaking role as the ghoulish figure who continually haunts Mary Henry: Hervey died of pancreatic cancer in 1996.
