Trivia: In "All I Want for Christmas" (1991), Hallie [Thora Birch] told her dad that Pluto is her "favorite planet." Pluto was reclassified or re-defined as a "dwarf planet" (now one of five) by the International Astronomical Union (IAU) in 2006. Many people were - and still are - unhappy about the "demotion" of what used to be the ninth planet and previously known as the smallest planet. Compared to one Earth year to revolve around the sun, Pluto takes 248 (Earth) years. (00:56:58)

Continuity mistake: The ambulance stopped along the curb in front of the house, but the front bumper was about halfway between the tree and the front steps. When the taxi arrived, pulling alongside the ambulance, the ambulance's front bumper was next to the stair's handrail plus a police car was parked where the front bumper of the ambulance should have been.
