Continuity: Darry walks towards the light at the end of the tunnel. He then has to turn round to look up the pipe. He shouldn't have to turn round as he was facing the pipe when walking towards it.

Continuity: Darry falls into the church basement and has a rip in his shirt with a patch of dirt on his chest. Camera cuts to Trish and back and the dirt has gone.

Continuity: In an early shot, Trish is shown trying to shift a floor mounted manual transmission lever in their car. But you can see the automatic transmission level on the steering column, and it is also in the "park" position.

Other: After the creature flies out the barred window with Darry, you see some bars missing from the earlier intact window, but where some of the bars are missing, there are intact bars surrounding it. The creature couldn't make a hole in two different places while flying out.

Continuity: When they are in the dirt field one of them says, "Its getting dark." But in later scenes it is lighter and then it gets darker. This happens a few times.

Audio problem: When trying to hit the creeper with the car, the distance between them and the creeper changes drastically, instantly.

Continuity: When Trish is trying to persuade the Creeper not to take Darry she is crying, tears streaming down her face - towards the end when it cuts back to her, she has a perfectly dry face.

Other: When the guy with the stitched up chest dies, Darry starts walking back towards the pipe. In the next shot, it looks as if he's turning around and not walking towards the pipe. It was obviously taken from the previous shot before he saw the stitched up guy.

Factual error: When the Creeper eats the policeman's heart, there is nothing blocking the hole - the tissue above the heart should have collapsed downwards.

Continuity: When the Creeper bumps their car at the early stages of the film, the boy turns his head to the left to see the back. Then suddenly the camera angle shifts and we see him turn his head to the right this time to see the back, which of course he couldn't have done that quickly.

Continuity: When Darry and Trish are in the police station and they meet Jezelle, Darry and Jezelle are sitting down and Trish is standing in front of them. Trish's hair is covering her face in the wide shot, but when it cuts to a close-up, her hair is behind her ear.

Continuity: The car they are driving changes from an Automatic to a manual. She always has a hard time getting it into gear, and when she finnally does get it going, you can tell its an auto.
