After Lea, Casi, and Dane have the $15 million in cash, they send the detectives the tracking on the Navigator with the stashed heroin, now being driven by the Mexican cartel. The detectives, who have Ballena with them, stop the Navigator and make the arrests. Lea, Casi, and Dane are waiting by the water where Dane gets picked up (putting two large tote bags of cash in the vehicle). Lea says goodbye to Casi, thanks him for the second chance, and drives away in her car with New Jersey plates. Casi returns to court, but as a sole private practice defense attorney. He is representing a college student before Judge Cyberline and points out that the arresting officer fractured his client's orbital socket. Then he tells the judge his "office will be filing a wrongful imprisonment suit against the city at the very least." The judge tells Casi's client Gartrell about Casi's recent reinstatement and asks if he'd like to speak on his own behalf. Gartrell replies, "Like he said, not guilty." Gartrell tells Casi he can't afford the $25,000 bail, but Casi says, "What I tell you?" Gartrell replies, "That legal fund you were talking about?" (Casi apparently is using his "cut" of the $15 million to benefit his clients and help "even the playing field.") Gartrell asks Casi, "What happens now?" Casi replies, "We go to trial and we win."

Factual error: Unless left in the vehicle (not the case here), towed impounded vehicles do not have keys. Moreover, lacking keys, a valid registration, possibly proof of insurance, and new plates, vehicles bought at a NYPD auction are to be TOWED away. A newly-purchased auctioned vehicle, such as the Navigator in the movie, is "ticket-" or "citation-ready", not ready to be driven on the streets.

Trivia: "Singularities" are infinitely dense points. When something is compressed to the point of having a volume of ZERO, its density is thought of as being infinite - in other words, a "singularity." A typical example is the inside (center) of a black hole. A huge star - that once had a large mass - was reduced to nothing, but that "nothing" has a density that is infinite. It is at a point of "no return" (an event horizon), so is not visible. BUT "naked singularities" could exist - and be visible.
