Trivia
The actress who played Mercy hurt her wrist during filming and required a cast. Her wearing Swan's jacket was written into the film so she could hide the cast. See more...
Visible crew/equipment: When The Warriors are running down the centre of the street (heading to the train station) as they are chased by the Turnbull AC's in their bus, on the left of this shot you can briefly see two crew members wearing yellow jackets standing next to some lighting equipment for the scene.
Other: The gang gets separated after an intense cop chase through the subway station, and Conchise, Rembrandt, Vermin escape safely aboard, ending up in Union Square. The train stops, and the guys step out; noticing no one is around. Rembrandt then comments that nobody has shown up. From the cam angles they are obviously looking at the empty platform straight ahead (right) from how their bodies are positioned in the subway door. Suddenly Vermin says, 'something else just showed up!' and the cam flips left to reveal a gang of girls watching them from a stairwell - which is obviously straight across from the tracks. Except, the guys' focus never left the empty platform. They wouldn't have noticed the girls standing straight left of them unless they'd been looking around, which they were not. Just a simple editing error.
Continuity: When the Warriors are back home and they step off the train, the woman who is with Swan has a pink top on and it is really dirty on the front, but when they go and find some weapons in the abandoned warehouse she has only got a small mark on the front the size of a hand, as she did earlier on in the film.
Continuity: In the Coney Island scene near the end of the movie, where the car that The Rogues are tailing The Warriors in stops, in the background shot you can see that the elevated boardwalk adjacent to the car is located about the same level as the roof of the car, and is ascending upwards towards the front of the car. In the next scene with a closeup of Luther clinking the bottles in his hand, the boardwalk is all of a sudden located much lower at the car seat level and is now descending downwards towards the front of the car.
Continuity: In the subway station, when the Turnbull A.C.'s recognize the Warriors, they turn the bus around and begin a fierce chase. The distance shots of them chasing the Warriors do not match up. Several times the AC's appear to gain on the Warriors, and a few other times the Warriors are way ahead of the AC's just prior to escaping up the subway stairs.
Continuity: At the end of the movie when The Warriors are back home in Coney Island and ready to confront the gang that set them up, you can see the rides, boardwalk, surrounding apartments in the background. However when they take the gang down to the beach all of the background scenery that definitely would still be visible disappears. There is no way they are still on the beach in Coney Island.
Visible crew/equipment: When the leader of the Riffs' finds out it wasn't the Warriors who killed Cyrus there is a focused shot on his face and his sunglasses reflect a crewmember wearing a white T-shirt next to what looks like a camera. It has to be a crewmember as no-one in that scene is wearing a white T-shirt.
