The camera cuts from an outside view (where Adam's minivan is) to inside Mike's car. A security guard in a Las Vegas hotel goes to investigate a report of a disturbance in a suite, with no two-way radio, which is a key piece of equipment for security guards! When he knocks on the door, no one answers, so he uses his passkey to enter. He would not have been able to do so without notifying his supervisor. Unless he was the one and only security guard in the entire hotel, someone would have been appraised of his last known whereabouts. [I worked in the back of the house in a HUGE hotel in Las Vegas, and given my position I often worked closely with security. They rarely did what they were supposed to do, cutting corners when they assumed it wouldn't matter. Also, the assumption that they are always on camera (unless they are in a guest room obviously) gives them a false sense of security thinking if anything truly did happen, it would be immediately seen and tended to. Unfortunately the people in surveillance were rather lackadaisical about their jobs too.]
