Sinbad throws a dagger at the over-grown bee and impales it on a rafter. But any insect (giant or normal-sized) is a fast and erratic flier and therefore not that easy to hit with a missile weapon. Besides, you can notice that the bee dummy used for the shot stands still a split second before the dagger hits it. [An insect that size would not be as fast or agile as a normal-sized insect. In any case, just because it's unlikely he'd hit it, that doesn't make it impossible.]
