Despite some minor backlash online, original Pinhead actor Doug Bradley has spoken out in support of Clayton, noting that the franchise has always been transgressive and unique, and that he loved her performance on the show "Sense8." It should also be noted that the Cenobites in the original book were mostly androgenous, though "Pinhead" was said to have a feminine voice.
