Other mistake: Once Earl stops the CAT at Burt and Heather's house, Val is standing on its roof directly above Earl. Val is looking and talking straight at them. The graboids shake the CAT, Earl drives it forward quite a bit (take notice just how far), but he looks up to tell Burt to hurry but he and Val are still facing in the same direction. They should be facing backward due to the distance they had to move up. Also, you'll notice that Burt is right in line with the trailer as he throws most of his gear. (01:14:30 - 01:15:30)
Other mistake: If Burt honestly believes he only has days left to live, wouldn't he be wondering why he isn't displaying any symptoms of illness (coughing, fever, pain etc). Also why wasn't he prescribed any kind of medication by the doctor who gave him this prognosis. Kinda silly really.
Other mistake: Even though Mason Storm is avenging his family's slaying by corrupt cops and a politician, he has committed several crimes while doing so - he snaps the neck of a person when he has them incapacitated after a fight, then he commits 2 car jackings, then he holds someone at gunpoint, innocent or not he would have been arrested along with the conspirators for the murder and carjacking.
Other mistake: When Georgie is following the paper boat there is construction equipment on the road that he goes around, there is something burning there but it's pouring rain.
Suggested correction: Those are oil lamps, they can keep burning in extreme conditions, including rain.
Other mistake: The official FBI database lists Diggs by his full name, "Diggins, Alan", followed by the Diggs alias, but Sorenson for the Feds is simply "Sorenson, E.", no first name given. He can't have been convincted and served time without even a full name. (00:14:30)
Other mistake: Tough beat cop Farley Wood in his spare time built a special electronic machine to feed his cat. He needs to take off for Miami at 3 PM. When his cat is eating before his departure though, the clock on the machine says it's "12 AM", which would be midnight, not noon.
