Character mistake: In one of the National Tattler headlines, the word "pursues" is misspelled "persues". (00:52:15)
Continuity mistake: All four guys are in the junk-yard and they are all about to toss their coins to see who goes to get the food. When Teddy throws his coin in the air he is wearing no dog tag necklace but when he catches the coin he is suddenly wearing the dog tag necklace. (00:22:15)
Visible crew/equipment: When they return to Enterprise after their successful mission, Iceman points and shouts, "You!" at Maverick. In the shot facing Maverick as he turns his head, the reflections of the camera and large reflector screen are visible on Maverick's sunglasses. Also, note the lack of a crowd of people behind Ice in the reflection. (01:40:45)
Continuity mistake: When Fievel discovers that Warren T. Rat is actually a cat in disguise, the hat tucked into his black belt disappears between shots. (00:51:20)
Revealing mistake: When Jim hits the brakes in his stolen patrol car, the two pursuing police cars turn and flip over and over. As they roll, the 'roll cannon' is visible on the underside of one of the cars (a round steel tube in a hole in the floor) and at left, the two cannon slugs from both cars bounce down the road. This device fires the slug downward, and the force behind it lifts the car when the slug hits the road, launching the car over.
Continuity mistake: When RJ sits on Jason's midriff he is eating a Popsicle with chocolate on it but in the next shot the chocolate its completely gone. (01:05:30)
Continuity mistake: The dash or speedometer of the Ferrari is visible multiple times, but two different dashes are seen. In one the speedometer has a top speed of 160 (garage men speeding down the road, when Cameron sees the mileage is too high, and when Cameron sees the miles aren't coming off). In the other it has a top speed of 120 (when they get in the car to leave the garage, and looking over Ferris' shoulder at Cameron leaning on the car in the garage before he kicks it [open matte version]).
