Factual error: In reality, Captain Bligh was never on board the HMS Pandora, and he was not present at the trial of the mutineers who stayed on Tahiti. At the time he was halfway around the world on a second voyage looking for breadfruit plants.

Factual error: In the movie version during a series of shots of African animals, there is a shot of a tapir. This is incorrect as tapirs are not indigenous to Africa. This is probably also present in the serial version. (00:09:45)

Bride of Frankenstein picture

Factual error: The movie's title is factually inaccurate. The bride isn't "of Frankenstein" (the doctor), she's the bride of Frankenstein's monster.

Suggested correction: First, that's not what constitutes a factual error. At this point in time, "Frankenstein" was commonly used as the creature's name. Even today, it's understood. And in the novel, Frankenstein was never a doctor or held a doctorate of any kind. So, based on your faulty logic, it's a factual error to call him "doctor."

Factual error: Hannay travels to Scotland on The Flying Scotsman which ran from London to Edinburgh, The Forth Road Bridge is actually 12km further West of the Port of Edinburgh, so Hannay couldn't jump off the Flying Scotsman onto the Forth Bridge.
