Question: Given that the mother pulled a vanishing act before with her daughter, why didn't the court put the child in foster care during the trial to make sure she didn't pull it again?

Question: Once her zealousness is uncovered, why isn't Judge Karlin reprimanded for this and disbarred? And her cases looked into to see if any more had ridiculous sentences passed down.
Answer: Who says she wasn't? She's only in this episode. Her whole future couldn't have been covered in 40 minutes.

My Name Is Earl (2005)
Question: Where does this show take place? And why doesn't anyone else try to change like Earl?
Answer: Somewhere in Fresno, California. I think, as for everyone else, his brother is mentally handicapped and his ex-wife is ignorant, lazy, and just plain mean.

Question: Did Claude Rains really play the piano here?
Answer: No, Claude Rains was not a trained musician. He was coached on how to play the violin and piano, but Rains' playing was dubbed over in post-production.

Question: Why, when KC's visiting her mother, daughter, and son, won't her son talk to nor hug her?
Answer: Because she's a working mother who travels the road, she probably missed birthdays, holidays, and family get-togethers. She wasn't there to see his accomplishments, nor tuck him in at night.

Batman (1966)
Question: Why did they have three different designs for Mr Freeze?
Answer: There were three well-known actors who played Mr. Freeze, each one a different height, weight, and physique. As these were notable guest stars, the costume designers would adapt the costume to best fit each actor who likely would want to avoid comparisons to the other Mr. Freezes, incorporate their preferences, as well as refresh the look, rework whatever didn't work in previous versions, and so on.

Question: How does David get one job after another without having a résumé or any references?
Answer: Even today, it's totally possible to get hired for random temporary jobs without a résumé or references, especially if you're getting paid under the table. Most of my early jobs were like that. Local businesses I'm familiar with needed a hand for a few weeks, and I needed a little extra money. Boom! I got a temporary under-the-table job where I got a couple hundred bucks a week in cash to just come in and help out. Technically not legal, but lots of places do it. And from what I've read, back in the 70s a lot of these types of gigs were more widespread, hence it was easy to find them.

The Incredible Hulk (1978)
Question: Why was the Hulk never called the Hulk, and who was he accused of killing?
Answer: The Hulk is accused of killing Dr. David Banner and Dr. Elenia Marks. After the lab explodes, McGee sees the Hulk emerge carrying the body of Dr. Marks, so he assumed the creature is guilty. It was McGee who caused the explosion. After following the trail of evidence of the Hulk to the lab, he hides when David and Elania arrive. In a darkened storage closet, he knocks over a bottle of flammable liquid. He confronts them, then is forced to leave by Banner, who says, "Don't make me angry, you wouldn't like me when I'm angry." When Banner reenters the lab, it explodes, caused by the Hulk when it went on a rampage trashing the lab, causing many electrical systems to catch fire, thus igniting the flammable liquid.
Answer: The phrase "Incredible Hulk" is coined by Jack McGee in one of his tabloid articles. He's trying to find proof of the Hulk because no one takes his story seriously, so probably nobody takes his name for the creature seriously either.

Question: Why does everyone always call John Redcorn by his full name?
Answer: I don't think this has been explained in any episode. At some point, he most likely asked people to use his full name. Perhaps he wants to highlight the "Redcorn" at all times, out of pride for his family history.
Answer: John is a common enough name that they might know several other Johns that we've never met, so they're being specific.

Question: What does Steve mean when he tells Marcy he's horny and has been to Buffalo?
Answer: In the first season, Steve and Marcy are portrayed as being more proper and "straight-laced", compared to the following three seasons (and Marcy's later personality, after they divorce). I think Steve is having more "exotic" urges than usual, after going to Buffalo. If I am correct, it's not considered a very wild and intense place, but it was a change from the Rhoades' well-managed routine.

The Jerk (1979)
Question: Why is this movie called "The Jerk"? Navin's naive, not a jerk.
Answer: Navin self-applies the "Jerk" epithet early in the film, using it not in the sense of someone obnoxious or mean (as it is used in most cases), but in the sense of a stupid person. He's saying he blames himself and his lack of intelligence (though, as you say, it is usually simple naïveté) for ending up where he is (broke, homeless).

Question: Why didn't Leia keep the bomb she'd had earlier when she turned Chewbacca over to Jabba, when she unfroze Han?
Answer: She likely wasn't allowed to keep it, as it would be considered a continued threat to Jabba and his minions. To claim the reward, she probably had to relinquish it. Voluntarily surrendering it would be a show of "good faith" once Leia (posing as a bounty hunter) got the payment for Chewbacca. Wanting to keep it would be suspicious.

Answer: Details are sketchy, but apparently NBC had renewed the series for a 5th season, but after unresolved contract disputes, the network canceled the show. 20th Century Fox, who produced the show, attempted to get other networks like FOX, TNT, and TBS to pick it up, but the studio was unable to reach favorable terms that would protect the show's artistic content.
