Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare (1991)
Question: Has there ever been any explanation as to why Freddy was killing children?
Answer: In the book version of the first three movies, he took a saying from his abusive foster father: "Children are useless." He made it "Children are better off dead." He also killed one trying to rob him and felt a rush of adrenaline from it that he didn't want to lose, so he got addicted to killing.

Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)
Question: Once cured and returned home, won't some of the villains, like the Lizard, still go to jail anyway?
Answer: More than likely... but that doesn't strictly matter. They'll still have been cured, avoided death, and "saved" in a sense. Even if they lose their freedom, they still are going to have a happier ending than they would have otherwise.
Remember that Oscorp is a corrupt company in the Amazing series. More than likely, both Connors and Dillon might be killed in prison under orders, so some happy ending.
That's a very bold assumption to make, especially considering they DIDN'T kill Connors after the events of the original "Amazing Spider-Man." At most, Connors will remain in prison. But I don't even know about Dillon. There's an exceedingly high chance he could just walk, especially presuming he'd be teleported back to around the time he was originally killed, and the world would think he's dead.

Batman: Arkham City
Question: How did Hugo Strange find out that Bruce is really Batman?
Answer: Listen to the fourth Riddler interview tape. He did a psychological profile of Batman, then picked among candidates as to who could be Batman. He's also smart enough to realize only a rich man could afford all of Batman's gear and vehicles.

King of the Hill (1997)
Question: When Leanne first came to the Hill house, did she really intend to change her life? Or was she deceiving everyone because she needed somewhere to stay?
Answer: Given she's not too bright, I'd guess she really wanted to change her life and not deceive anyone.
She is portrayed as coming from a "trashy" lifestyle. She had limited opportunities for healthy relationships and decent-paying jobs. It's easy for such people to return to their old ways, after burning their bridges elsewhere. She might have actually wanted to change. However, addicts need to make the right choices every day. Contrary to popular belief, an addict is never "cured"; they simply learn to manage.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986)
Question: When Leatherface starts rampaging during Stretch's flirting with him, and he's starting his chainsaw up, is this supposed to represent something? It's right after she repeatedly asks if he's mad at her and how good he is.
Answer: It's basically Leatherface's version of an orgasm. Stretch appeals to his sexuality in order to survive, and he's aroused. He uses his chainsaw as a phallic object, rubbing it against her leg and then pressing it into her groin, and is panting, which obviously symbolizes his idea of sex. And then he becomes aggressive, revs up his chainsaw, and destroys the studio in an explosive emotional display, not unlike the strong physical/emotional sensation that comes with an orgasm. You could also theoretically make an argument that the mess he creates by sawing and throwing things around specifically represents male ejaculation, which involves a pulsating release of semen and can be, let's just say, "messy" sometimes depending on what sexual activity you're doing.
Thank you.

Batman: Arkham Knight
Question: Except for Two-Face, Killer Croc, Scarecrow and Jervis Tetch, why were the rest of the villains redesigned?
Answer: Probably because different people were working on the game. Scarecrow and Croc also have different looks if you've played Asylum, City, and Origins, they look different here too.

Question: Has it ever been revealed what's under Double D's hat? If it hasn't, what is the best speculation?
Answer: Danny Antonucci thought it best to leave up to the viewers' imaginations where it'd be sure to be even more outrageous. My guess is one bad haircut.

Question: Throughout the series, Sarah has been shown to have excessive anger, as well as hostility towards her older brother. Is it ever revealed why she is so angry?
Answer: She's just a spoiled, bratty younger sister.
Question: Looking at how this movie opens, it is the same night the first film ends. April's apartment burned down. How could she have a new, fully furnished apartment for the turtles to stay in? It's hinted that she has been there for a while based on the neighbor's comment about her "aerobics."
Answer: Who said or hinted it was the same night as the first one ended? It's a night shortly after the first movie. Regarding the new place, well that's what insurance does – provides you with a new place.
I also think that it is the same night. The foot soldiers are still in their uniforms and show fresh signs of battle. Plus, when the garbage truck pulls away, we see Shredder lift his hand from that area, which tells us that he was just "dropped off" for lack of a better term. But mostly, the dialogue between April, the turtles, and Splinter indicates that they have been crashing at her place for an extended period of time, not just a few hours or days.

Question: Jen has concerns about Steve Rogers dying a virgin, and Bruce eventually caves in the credits sequence and says he lost his virginity in 1943 on the USO tour. But why doesn't he tell Jen that Steve had many happy years with Peggy Carter, courtesy of their timeline-jumping? Presumably that involved sex too. Does Bruce not know, or is that meant to be kept secret?
Answer: He probably knew and kept Steve's secret.
Answer: 1. David probably lied to get Jen off his back. 2. She wanted to know if Steve ever had sex, not about his true love. 3. If he told her about Steve's time travel, it would open a can of worms. She would probably be curious and seek him out, the government might want him back for disobeying orders and not resuming his Captain America duties. 4. The government would want the secrets of time travel to change history or to go back and forced him to resume his Captain America duties to prevent the infiltration of Hydra into S.H.I.E.L.D.
Answer: It's not his story to tell.

The Uninvited (2009)
Question: If Mildred Kemp is in the mental institution under her real name, then why in the article does it say that she is still at large? Is this just part of the delusion that Anna is playing out?
Chosen answer: The newspaper article saying she was still at large was 20 years old. It can safely be assumed that she was caught and put into the institution during that 20 year time frame.
What? I'm still so confused. Are Rachel and Mildred the same person? Who killed the three children?
Anna has a disorder, which is another reason she was in a psychiatric institution and not jail. Her personality disorder is called dissociative identity disorder, where she takes on alters, aspects of her personality who handle stress, when she cannot. Alex and Mildred were alters of hers, which is why Anna thought Rachel was Mildred. The MIldred alter did the things she couldn't do, killing Rachel because she thought she was evil. And a Mildred alter can be thought of wanting to revenge her capture, so why not make a mini Mildred out of Anna?
No... Mildred was in the mental hospital with Anna and told Anna stories about her murdering the children I'm sure (since she asked when Anna left the hospital who she was going to tell her stories too). Anna wanted to kill Rachel to begin with and when she faked being mentally health enough to escape, her intention was to be home to kill her. She did and then goes back to the hospital, where the real Mildred Kemp is.

Answer: No. It was a well kept secret that only his apprentice knew.
Who is that apprentice?
Not only his apprentice knew. Maas Amedda and Sly Moore also knew.
Answer: First it was Darth Maul in Episode 1. Then in Episodes 2 and 3 it was Count Dooku.

Question: When did Quagmire start hating Brian? In earlier seasons it shows Quagmire and Brian getting along fine but, several seasons later, Quagmire now hates Brian.
Answer: Given how succinctly he nails Brian, we can presume that Quagmire has never liked Brian and has only now put it into words.
Answer: It's explained in Season 7 Episode 8 that he hates him for his pompous nature, his liberal attitude, his arrogance towards God believing people, and that he see him as a sad, alcoholic, bore.
That answers the "why" but not really the "when." Brian's personality didn't really change, so when did Quagmire start hating him?
For all we know, Quagmire might have disliked Brian shortly after they first met. Maybe he kept his feelings to himself for a while, due to his friendships with Peter, Lois, Joe, Cleveland, and others who associate with Brian. There are some people who I dislike, but I don't want unnecessary tension among people who we both know.
Maybe always, but he was too polite to say anything for years. Hey I started hating my mother for her arrogant bigoted attitude when I was 18 but didn't say anything for years.

Answer: From online sources, it appears her character's storyline had gone as far as the show wanted to take it after one season.
