Factual error: Tony writes a "postcard" on the back of a picture to Adrian and Veronica to an address in Cambridge including the postcode. This scene occurs in 1967 (we see the date on the letter he is responding to) but postcodes weren't in use in Cambridge until at least 1970.
Continuity mistake: Alison is saying goodbye to her parents and she is wearing a long kimono. As she walks into her bedroom she is no longer wearing it, and then picks it up off her bed and puts it on. (01:07:05)
Continuity mistake: The glass bowl of spaghetti is filled within about 2" from the top, but the mound in the center almost reaches the rim when Janice carries it to the table. Continuity mistake: While Jim is narrating his story, he gets to the point when his son was hit by a drunk driver. The line slows down, but when it cuts to a close-up of Renée Zellweger saying "Sorry Jim", you see the trays shift. Only, they are back in the exact same spot as before when the close-up is over. Continuity mistake: When Bob finds Scott and Kate at his office with the money and runs at them, he slams into a frame at the end of the hall breaking the glass. It cuts to a different angle and suddenly he's slamming into it again but the single sound effect is still playing. (01:14:41)
Continuity mistake: Addison put his sweater on (over his neck and arms into the sleeves). After his dad asked him if he was OK, the view of Addison in the mirror showed him putting his sweater on again. (00:16:04)
Other mistake: When the Polish police officers are shot in the van, there is no blood splatter at all. Two seconds later there is blood on the wall. When the guy in the middle is shot in the chest, blood sprays almost one meter above and behind him on the wall. (00:33:25)
Continuity mistake: Edmund and his business partner pull over in front of the hotel. They walk out of the car, and the woman is holding a clipboard in her left hand and her smartphone in her right. When they get through the hotel doors though, she is thumbing her phone in her left hand and the clipboard is now encased in a whole document folder she did not leave the car with, in her right hand. Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie, Cass is blackmailing Mira about the true nature of her little trip. She calls Liam up; during the scene, she is holding the hanger in a different way between shots (left hand on the hook, or under it). (00:04:00)

Continuity mistake: Lynn Jackson collects things from the desk and looks at George Pierce, who tells her "I'll talk to him", clutching his smartphone to his chest. Next shot and his arm is down his side. (00:18:10)
Continuity mistake: When the boy wakes up in the middle of the night after first hearing the dinosaur, his alarm clock reads 2:0x (its not clear but the digit segments on show imply it's either 2:05 or 2:06). The next time we see the clock it's 2:02, then two scenes later when the dinosaur decides to and then does jumps off the table the clock now reads 2:22.
Continuity mistake: Roland crumbles up Jake's drawing and stuffs it in his jacket, but when he takes it out again, it's neatly folded.
Visible crew/equipment: When the police woman falls off the boat when the shark hits it, on the right side of the screen, you can see a hand outstretched, as if reaching out to grab her. It doesn't belong to the only other person on the boat, since he's behind the wheel and completely out of reach. So, it belonged to a person who wasn't supposed to be there.
Factual error: A group of people are traveling in a pickup truck escaping earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. They come across a mist that they identify as sulphur dioxide, mainly by its smell and effects on people. Then the plastic interior of the car starts to melt, and they attribute it to the sulphur dioxide. Sulphur dioxide can attack plastics and rubber, but only in its liquid form. It turns gaseous at -10° C. After that it is a gas. So the melting of plastic is not correct at ambient temperature.
Suggested correction: He doesn't crumple it up, he folds it. Though he does stuff it roughly into his jacket.
